Just a quick few words to say that the Mc Guinn family in County Sligo, Ireland are thinking of your loss and for the many other families involved in 9/11

*** Posted by Sean Mc Guinn on 2006-11-29 ***

Well, it's almost your birthday again - somehow this 5th year seems the absolute emptiest of them all - Know that we think of you almost every day. Sometimes that conjures up a tear, but mostly your memory is indelible with smiles.

5 years later and that awful day on 9/11/01 still seems like yesterday... Though many things have changed, many other things still remain the same... Yet with all of us that miss you, one thing has been a constant and that is, that Frank left behind an impactful legacy of moments and memories and a family that will always be filled with his spirit... May God watch over you and us all...

Dad, I cherish every memory I have and every moment of time spent in your company. Your wisdom inspired me and your love taught me true compassion. I thank God every day for the time that was given to me. Sometimes my own selfish thoughts overwhelm me. I miss you greatly, and know know to live each day to the fullest and never leave your loved ones in a bad state, because you never know when you or they may be gone. Thank you for your beautiful soul, wise words, fun filled heart, open mind and your everlasting love. Your influences have guided me in the past and will continue to guide me and help me move on and up in my life. I love you Dad.

My darling...my heart will never forget you...life is so hard without your special way that surrounded me every day...it's 2005 and still there is no memorial at Ground Zero that is proper or dignified to remember you, Ritchie, Joe, John, Tim, Steve, Diana and so on...

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
