Franky,
Just waited for your name to be announced and saw your pic on tv. We had good times in high school. You were such a bright kid. I recall you always splitting those delicious and enormous sandwiches you used to bring to school. I think your mom used to pack those awesome lunches. Here thinking of you bro.

I will always remember the fun trips skiing with the gang, the parties, and all the other memories. You made us smile and laugh. Good food, great fun, good friends around us all! You kept me from getting in trouble a few times. Sorry that I didn't understand it then, but I do now thank you. I'm sorry we lost contact when I went back to Sweden again. Now that I am older, I know a good friend is never too far away ... for a phone call, or a letter, or a text message. But you I will see one day again, my dear friend.... You are missed, this I know....
Love,
Your friend Carina from Sweden

As you get older and start forming your own "adult" lives, you tend to loose touch with family and friends... Frankie to me was a great cousin, one that I wished I had kept a closer relationship with...I regret that now that he's gone....
My fondest memory of him was how we (me, Jessy and Frank) would make up dance steps to freestyle songs and practice them upstairs in his house.... those were fun times...
i miss you dearly Frankie and I hope you're at peace
you and Minada always in my prayers......

I remember seeing Francisco's wife - looking for him after 9/11- saying she thought maybe he was lying in a hopsital somewhere- afraid to come home because he had lost his legs (or something to that effect) and she said she didn't care- she just wanted him back; to know he was alive. I never forgot that story. Or Francisco's name. I remember thinking at that moment- it is family. That's all that matters. The people who will love you, look for you, mourn your loss. I want to you know that his memory lives on and his life is remembered.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
