WE ALL ♥ YOU GARY((:

*** Posted by Kayla on 2011-09-14 ***

I met Garry in Omaha Ne doing his job. He impressed me as a very nonjudgmental individual who succeeded by working hard. After his visit he followed up with me appropriately attempting to fit a product to an institution. We spoke on the phone a few times but never met again. He was kind and gentle. Never rude nor overly aggressive. I wish we had done more things together.

We are thinking of you Garry and your family as the ten year anniversary of your passing approaches. You were a kind and happy child who grew into a fine man, and will always be remembered by all of those whose lives you touched. May you rest in peace and may your family be comforted with their wonderful memories of you.

As we approach the tenth anniversary this year, I can't help thinking about my prep school friend. Even through those awkward teen years, Garry was a true to life person, kind, friendly, smart and a with a great sense of humor. Never during those tranquil years could I have ever imagined a Sept 11th, let alone losing Garry that day. My thoughts and prayers will always be for his family and for all of us who choose to exist peacefully in our lifetimes.

Olivia:

I went to high school with your daddy, and you're right. He was a wonderful daddy, who loved you and his whole family with all his heart. Everyone who knew your daddy even a little bit knows that he loved you all more than anything in the whole world, and that you made him so happy. He would want you to be as happy as you made him. He would want you to know even when you're sad that you will know the joy and happiness of loving somebody just as much as he loved you. I've thought about your daddy many times, and when I think of him from now on, I will also think about you. His love will always be with you.

My daddy was the best dad you could imagine. I love you, daddy, and miss you.

Mr. Lozier was an amazing person. I used to play wit his son even back in elementary school. When I heard he passed it saddened me. I didn't know him very well but the few moments I spent with him were wonderful.

your lovely family and great and distant friends will miss you forever. x

Garry was my next door neighbor during my childhood years. I have this picture of him in my mind smiling at me as he walked his dog trudging through the snow.  My father coached him as a youngster in football and they had a special bond. We continued to be friends throughout high school. He was a kind and gentle soul and a true gentleman.  He was sweet, intelligent and sensitive to others' needs. I always knew he would make a terrific husband and father. My family was devastated when we heard of his passing. We pray for Garry and his family every day. I know my own father is now with him in paradise. May God rest his soul.

I knew Garry when I worked for Ray Fisher in Investments and I talked with Garry every day on the phone. Garry was a special person whom we all loved. We will never forget him. God Bless his wife and children.

Garry was one of the finest human beings I have ever known. His sense of humor and love of life was truly memorable and his friendship was unmatched. We all miss him dearly.

I was so very very surprised to read that Gary  was killed in the WTC!!!!  I knew him in the late 1970's and he was such a nice "boy".  My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends who mourn him.
Respectfully, Patrice Regan

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
