I never knew him personally, but I am happy to have read about him. As a part of the "I Will" for 9/11 movement, you can ask to honor someone from that horrible day. I consider it a great honor to dedicate mine to George. He will be in my prayers as well as his family, Forever

George was a loving, kind, generous person, and will always be sadly missed by his family and friends. As it has been nearly 10 years since his untimely death, please join us in celebrating his life, cut so short by this tragedy. We will always remember his smile during Summer cookouts with Val at poolside, and his unselfish devotion to his friends and family. We will always miss you, with sadness in our hearts, and the joy of having known such a wonderful gentleman, in every way. May the angels finally come to Ground Zero to collect your soul, as we know that you are in heaven with God.

This is your niece, Tawanda. I just wanted to say that I love you. And even though we never got to spend a lot of time together, I loved my uncle. He was the apple of my great grandmother Marion Thomas' eye, and I know that if you could see me now, Uncle George, you would weep, for at this very moment I can admit I have made some mistakes. But I love you, and in honor of your memory, I am going to do the right thing, pull myself together, and make something of my life. Don't worry. I WILL make you proud!

Eric and I were roommates for a while in Berwyn.... He knew I needed a place to live for a while and was gracious enough to think of me. We worked together as well. We used to talk for hours.... He was so gentle and thoughtful ... had a funny laugh and giggle that I will never forget ... one of the most helpful people on the planet. Truly this world is sad without Eric ... my friend ... we are still very sad ... a great man ... a great friend ... and now an angel.... Eric, I am glad I knew you..

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
