God bless your family.... The world will never forget!

I miss you, Gordy. I will never forget you.

Today is 09-10-2010. I had a thought that I wanted to do something special for all of the victims of 9-11-2001, but I forgot how many there are. I am going to run or walk a mile for every victim. I suppose the easiest way is to start at the top, so I am starting with Gordon. I have to work tomorrow.... I am a deputy with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's department, and we work 12-hour shifts, so my Monday doesn't leave me enough time. So, starting on 9/12, I will run 5 miles, with the first one being dedicated to Gordon. You, and all of the others, are not forgotten.

You are not forgotten.

Thinking and remembering all those who died in that awful tragedy, our thoughts and prayers are still with the families and friends of those who lost their dearly beloved on that day.

Just a wee mention to ensure you and the rest of the victims of 9-11 that you are in our thoughts, even though it was so long since the world was shocked by the events on that beautiful September morning. May God keep you and protect you.

I will never forget all those wonderful people who died on that terrible day. My thoughts and prayers are with their families. May God bless you all. Take care and be sure to keep God in your thoughts. My heart is breaking now just thinking about all those wonderful people.

Though it has been many years, it only seems like yesterday since this horrible tragedy was thrust upon our country and upon so many families, and I just wanted you to know that I think of those who lost their lives on 9/11 often. Some may forget, but I promise that I will never forget, nor will I let my family and friends forget. I pray for the good memories to outweigh the loss and grief. I cannot even imagine how you feel, and to even try is so very sad. God bless Gordon's family and friends.

There are no words to express how I feel. You will be always missed and never, ever forgotten. May you rest in peace.

I'm very sorry for your loss. May God pour out His comfort and love towards your family and friends. I never knew him, but I will never forget.

Gordie was my friend and mentor. We went to Blake (school) together. I always looked up to him. He was older and took me under his wing often. He was the type that all the girls loved and all the guys wanted to be like. He was a hero then, and he certainly is one now. Gordie, I think of you and your family often. You made such a positive impact on my life, and I am sure you have done and are still doing the same for others.

Never forgotten.  :-)

He was an awesome man, and to die so young is horrible.

I'm a student in Spree Creek High School. I'm doing a project for language arts, and it's about 9/11, and I'm really sorry about your death. R.I.P.

You may be gone, but you're a hero. You're always in my prayers. R.I.P.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
