Graham, I may not know you, but I am doing a project about you. You seem like a splendid man and a well known hero. It has been about 11 years since you have departed, but I still think you shall be honored and cherished forever. God Bless,

I got to know Graham well when he was dating my roommate. I told him at the time, "Graham is a keeper!". His cute dimples, wavy blond hair and smile was just the surface of a beautiful personality.
I think of Graham a lot, because from my job as a flight attendant I am constantly reminded of what happened on 911.And now 10 years later he is on my mind a lot.
Oh, Graham, you beautiful man, I know you are somewhere smiling and making beautiful music! Sorry you had to go so soon. You are missed.

Graham,

As so often, my thoughts turn to you, especially on this day. You should be here with us now, enjoying the sunshine and friendships. I hear your voice often and it is always laughing. I miss you.

Thinking of you today Graham. James

Graham,

Your memory haunts me still and probably always will. The pain of your loss has changed over the years, and now I am only filled with the memory of your magnetic personality, your quick sense of humor, and that devious smile. I try to no longer dwell on the horrific circumstance of your death, my friend, as I'm sure you would only want to be remembered for the spectacular life you led. If you can see us still, I hope it brings you peace to see the vast numbers of people whose lives you affected and the love that has poured your way. You truly are a great loss to us all. I cherish every moment I spent with you and vow to always keep you alive in my heart and mind.

Till the next time we meet...

While I think of you often Graham, my friend, today those thoughts are magnified. I miss you deeply. You were always a true friend to me. You kept me honest, never let me get away with anything and most of all, you looked out for me. I see you everywhere. Your face, your smile, your honest sense of being, character and integrity. I'll remain tortured by fate always. Although you never knew it, I was to be with you on that flight, on my way to Tokyo for work. Why fate played me a lucky card and not you, I will never understand. I miss you deeply my friend. Indeed I do.

Graham, I remember you as a young, very talented violinist in Shrewsbury. I envied your talent! Sorry! :-)) Memories have flooded back of the Shropshire youth orchestra together and the Shrewsbury School string orchestra. Happy times! I am truly very sad that your young life has been taken away from you and your family. I can only pray that you are in a better and safer place. James.

Graham took me to my first violin concert. It was a splendid night. I was dating him. He is a very special person who wanted to be loved and to love.  Graham, I hope you're in a more peaceful place than earth. All my love to you wherever you are.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
