Greg was a funny guy ... and quick. His favorite expression was "snooze you loose, slow you blow, and you can't teach quickness!" He was driven with a huge energy that made him jump out of bed in the morning. He had a million projects from the Yankees to fishing to flying kites to driving around a dinosaur. He loved the Jersey Shore with a passion and was happiest in Rumson and Seabright on the beach. As far as sport goes, he played great golf and skied like a demon. There was nothing half-hearted about him! His favourite movie was "the big Lebowski," and we were all totally fed up hearing about how "the rug made the room"! He had great friends, and I will never forget all the stories you guys told me at the memorial service. It was great hearing the other side of the story! I'm sorry we only really met then.
He really did love his buddies, especially those of you from LU and Wall Street. He had many people he knew, but you guys, who were his real friends, had a special place in his heart. He was a loyal guy, and he was much loved. I'm not even going to talk about the snow in Elizabeth (another favorite expression that made me laugh as I was landing in Newark last week!)
Greg came from a great family. He loved his mom and dad. His dad isn't so well now, but he still looks a lot like Greg. He also loved his sister Jane, who always was the one who got into trouble and blamed when Greg started it! He was so proud to introduce me to his beautiful sister the first time we went to Red Bank. His brother Larry was a little older, and although they were close, they didn't communicate like Jane and Greg, who were thick as thieves!
I miss my lovely, funny, complicated boyfriend, and although I have found happiness since, I still sometimes daydream about what it would have been like if we'd taken the long-awaited holiday that week, and I hadn't dropped him off in Red Bank that Monday morning.
I know that there are lots of you who miss him, too, and I hope I made him real to you again. Greg was special. We remember.

We had a beer in your memory this past May at Sig ep. We won't ever forget who you were and our great time at LU.

I knew Greg since 1990 in Hoboken--he was always full of laughs and cheer. I remember seeing Greg several times at "opening day at Yankee Stadium" with a smile. He is missed by many.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
what kind of person he/she was,
what nice points you remember about him/her,
what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
what you two perhaps did together,
what he/she meant to you,
or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.
24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.
The video below is a song you might like by 24K Gold Music shows, called Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.
