Dear Harry, We did not know each other well. I had the pleasure of meeting your lovely wife at the College of Insurance and we became friends. Shortly after I had the honor to attend your wedding. It is one of the weddings that I will never forget. You could feel Gods presence in the church. I was so happy for Sharon. And despite your no longer being here, I am still happy for her. She had an opportunity to be loved by a God fearing man. Many women never have that experience. Then out of that love to bare your son.
I have never been able to make sense out this tragity but I know that God is in control and we must find peace in that.
I will keep Sharon and the family in prayer.

I remember Mr. Glenn, as I was working on doing the refinance of his home. It didnt occur to me that Mr. Glenn has passed away until I called his home and his wife had told me the news. I was in utter shock and the feeling that came over me was complete sadness. Im sure Mrs. Glenn wont remember me or that phone call. It has however forever stuck with me. God bless you and your family Mrs. Glenn

Watch Jaylan voice the names of those who died during the attack and he made mention of how proud you would be of him striving every day to make you and his mom even more proud of him. He is a wonderful son and and as your spirit continue to guide him may God always Bless us all.

Harry. It is now, september 11, 2011, ten years after your passage from this earth. I did not know you, but decided to send you this message after seeing your son, now a young man, on television reading your name and the names of others who died on that day. I was struck by his grace and composure, and am sure you would be proud of the young man he has become. Rest in peace.

Ten years have passed since your light was removed from this world. I pray for your family and know you are an angel in heaven looking out for them. I know Roosevelt and Donald keep you alive in memory and thought. Obama got Osama. I hope that gives you some peace. Mommie passed this year. Look for her in heaven. She spoke of you often. Your smile, wit, and love of life and people is truly missed. Rest in peace my brother

Harry Glenn
You are once again in my thoughts. Mommie passed this year and I hope you two got a chance to talk. We talked about you often. Your smile, your warm personality, your preseverance, and your general love of people and life. Obama got Oshama and I hope that gives you some comfort. Your family is always in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace my brother.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
