Hey, Harry:

I've been watching the memorial this morning and got a glimpse of your great smile. Rest well.... You are thought of often by many of your co-workers from AT&T.

Harry, I take this day and think of your smile and the brightness you brought to your family and myself. I truly miss you and will always remember a wonderful man was taken away but will always be deep in our hearts... love you Harry! My blessings are with you Sharon and Jaylan... Thank you Sharon Radiant

I worked with Harry at AT&T, he was a truly wonderful person and I was shocked to hear of our loss on 9-11. This year, I hope his family is doing well; know many of us are thinking of you, at this time especially, and give you a mental hug!

Hello, Uncle HARRY,

I just want to say that you are missed. I wish you were here to see Jalen grow. He is a very handsome young man. He needs his father, so please guide him in the right directions in life. Please watch over him from above. I LOVE YOU!

Today it was so hot out that I saw two trees fighting over which one would get the dog. Well, as you probably already know, the Knicks didn't get Labron James—not that he could help 'em anyway.... On a lighter note, all is well on the home front, but it's hot in NYC.

We are enjoying an old photo of New York Plus on facebook, and Harry, of course, is right there. Missing you, Harry, and respecting the man that you were—even then!

Having been where most will ever go I never forgot where I came from. I will never forget you either Cousin, your memory is a small blessing to remind all of us that true Love will never die, or be forgotten.

We never knew Harry, but we met his wife at Walmart a few days after the attack while purchasing supplies for the rescue workers. We still remember the conversation we had with her. We keep Harry and his family in our prayers still to this day. God bless Harry, his wife, and his son. May you all be at peace.

You were just a pleasure to know and love, a perfect gentleman, husband, and father. Love you always.

Peace and blessings to the family. Harry G, we had so many great times at NCCU, hanging out on the yard, going to house parties down at Parkview, playing ball, Jersey against New York. You were such an intelligent brother that had so much to offer the world, but God saw fit to bring you home with him. It was a blessing to meet and hang out with you, and I will always remember you for being a true friend. Harry "G," you will always be missed, and I pray for peace and blessings for your wife and son. Rest on, brother.

You will always be remembered. You were a great person, and I will always remember your smile and that fast walk as you walked across NCCU's campus on your way to class. I knew you would do well in life, and it really hurt my hurt when I heard of the tragic way you had to leave this world.

It's the "one behind you for life." I still miss you every day, and I still remember that I have to go upstairs by 9 pm. I'm trying to hold down the fort in your memory. With your teachings you instilled in me ... I WILL. TALK TO YOU SOON.

Harry embraced education, NCCU, NYC and all who crossed his path. My prayers are always with Harry, Sharon and the entire Glenn family.

Harry was my very first boss and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful mentor and friend. He just had a love of life which came out in everything he did and was contagious for those around him. I hope Sharon and his son are doing well....

My man, Harry G from Norman T to NCC. What a guy! The pleasure was all mine. May the Lord continue to please those family and friends who had the Harry Glen experience.

Another year has passed, and you are in my thoughts. We were robbed of your smile, brilliance, and outstanding personality. Your family are in my prayers always.

Just want to add my name to the list of those who remember the wonderful people lost on 9/11. I, like Harry was, am an alumnus of NCCU. Harry, I regularly remember your son and wife. Rest in peace.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
