All thou I did not know you some how I feel you are in Heaven at peace,It must have been very hard knowing that your life will be coming to an end,but now you are with your Father in Heaven and will never have to worry again,you are a true hero

I had the pleasure of working at the same company as Igor. He was my go-to tech person because he was so knowledgable and also because he was such an incredibly sweet person. I think about him every 9/11 anniversary. I hope he in a better place and that his family has found some comfort.

I'm writing to you because you are the last name on the list. I live in AZ and did not know anyone who died, but my heart goes out to those who died and their families. Every year I get sadder and sadder, and I am crying right now. I hope you are in heaven and happy looking down on what is being done for your memory each and every year. We are going to visit the flags put up for each victim in our state today in honor of your memory. MAY GOD BE WITH US ALL!

The length of this list truly brings home the absolute tragedy of that day. On this young man's page, at the end of a sea of names, I offer my thoughts and condolences to him, and all who perished, and the families and friends who are left behind to mourn. This world can be very hard to understand sometimes.

A.D. Aftermath of Destruction 9/11/01
I saw the face of misery
While looking into a child's eyes
How could a country so strong
Suffer such a great demise.
From slavery to the great depression,
America has seen it all
Why is it as we've begun to come together
It is now that we fall?
Now I know what it means to be an American
As citizens we share a common vein
Race,color,sex or creed cannot divide us
When the pain we feel is the same.
Today, people lost friends and family
I have lost my peace of mind
Because today I was reminded
Of how the world can be so unkind.
We took for granted what God gave us.
We forgot what it means to be free
Remember now! As the nation sits in stunned silence.

It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
