Jackie,
You are still missed and still LOVED!

*** Posted by Kavin on 2011-09-13 ***

Dear Jackie, I never knew you. I never knew your hopes or dreams. Yet, I remember you on my blog every year at this time. It is said that one does not truly die until no one remembers them. You are still here. In the thoughts of those who loved and cared about you. I hope, that on the day I go home to God, I get to meet you, and all the people you touched. To hear theirs, and your stories. What a joy that will be.

I been remembering one particular day when we departed after hanging out. I told you "I love you" and you so quickly responded back to me "Love you too" and then caught yourself and said with a smile "Bye Erik" off giggling to yourself. Well, you know I am not going to let you off the hook with that, you already put the words out there so I will continue to keep them, true or not! HaaHaa.
Thank you for always making life easy for me back then. Your company is so important to me. You know I will continue to talk to you and share what is going on in my life WITHOUT reacting NEGATIVE (You mentioned that to me long ago, still need work). Well, I will be going to make sure they spelled your name right (unlike me, sometimes)and rub it a couple of times, send you some prayers and take pics/video. I miss you my friend, I miss you!

Gone, but not forgotten.... Behold the Green and Gold.... NSU can't forget trying to make ends meet by working at the Signature Group during those college years!

I know you're shaking your head at what is going on in the world! Nutty Pastor and all! Everyone wants to get attention. I just wish he found another way to want to make his case. Now, it's nine years and things in the world are pretty much the same, except we got a black president. NICE, RIGHT?! I've done two more commercials and counting. Soon I will be beyond Diddy! I know you hate me hating him, just let me hate! Hahaha! I am working hard at it. I did another play, which your mom came to, but I wasn't too happy with my work. It was, I don't know, just one of those days. I really wish you were here in body, so I could chill with you and talk without being forced or pulled. Just wish.... I love you. Yeah, I am trying to be a good man.... Stop with the raised eyebrow!

Jackie my sister I love you more than life and I never told how much I really do love you. You have done things for me that im am so greatful for. You have always been there for me even when I wasnt acting right. You know I remember all the times we argued and fought and even those times when I was mad at you I know you was only looking out for what you knew to be best for me and I thank you. ALL THESE YEARS LATER I still think about my big sister. I know you know how hard it is with out you and mommy been has strong as you are over all this time. Jackie I knew of you before I even met you and I knew of what a wonderful and truly blessed person you are. Big sis just know I love you so much and one day I will be able to say that in person but until then just know you are in my heart, my dreams and my prayers. Of course I will be keepin an eye on CJ your baby is getting so big. I know you would be proud of your little man. Until we met again I love you. Take care.

Jackie,
It has taken me all of this time to realize and accept that you have flown away from us. This world has become a little less. The Summer: a little less warmer, The Spring: a little less beautiful, The Fall: a little less glorious, The Winter: a little less wonderful. You touched so many lives with your warm, caring and, giving heart. We who were blessed to spend some time in the beauty of your life and fulness of your love will forever be thankful that God gave us for a time, a little piece of heaven here on earth while you with us. You have flown away but you will never be forgotten. You will be remembered in every kind word, every good deed, every act of compassion and every sweet song that will ever be written. Your life was 23 years but, your legacy is forever.... Fly free my dear sister you will be loved forever and ever.

5 Years later and I still feel the absences. It's still burns in my heart and mind of the friend I dearly miss. One who helped me when life didn't seem to shine, she made it shine and made things feel right. I love her.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
