My younger son Dennis, age 16 years, and the whole family are still sad, that so many lives are wasted. We pray for each of them and for Jake Denis Jagoda. May god bless him.

I did not know Jake very well, in fact I could not put a face to the name when I saw his name in print on the main memorial website. However, when I did get a chance to see his picture, I recognized him at once. I played baseball with Jake when we were both much younger. He was a fun loving guy, and seemed to always have a smile on his face. I know he is missed. Goodbye buddy, I know you are at peace.

I keep posting on Jake's memorials because I feel the need to keep his memory going as long as I am here. Even though I have lost many people close to me before, losing someone my age - someone from my childhood - makes me want to keep that innocence we had once just a little longer. I hope Jake and Mary are angels watching over me ~Krista

Jake was from my hometown. Although I didn't know him, my husband and I decided to name our son (due in April) Jacob. We wanted to honor the victims of 9/11 in some way, and when I saw that Jake was from Huntington it was an easy decision.

I am devastated by the news of Mary's death but somehow comforted knowing Jake was there with her, leading her to a place of safety and love.
I am thinking of Anna May & Lou everyday, every minute.

i just wanted to post my condolences to this family upon hearing that yet another tragedy has hit them... my thoughts are with you as i can't imagine how hard this must be. i know your children are together somewhere, i hope that brings you comfort.

- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
