MOVING ON

What of life

It is a whisper
And I the whisperer this night
I seek you out

I am that voice in the desolate wilderness
I am that foreigner in the strange land
My mouth is dry
Always parched with thirst
And this loathsome eclipse does not cool

I thirst
I thirst for you

There is a yearning to see you again
To touch and to whisper that whisper
That this life
Is a desiring for you

    And I have moved on
New countries
New vistas
New realities
    I am always seeking

For you
My flower gently fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
My candle in the wind

And always I share your thirst
Always I share your hunger

I have moved on
And always this eclipse

But....I see you....now in the darkness!
Through the smoke and in the heat
    and I've found you!

    ....but....you're fading
                Again you are fading
    .............falling

But tonight this night
I heard you as you called out
Determined I saw you as you fell down
And              I fell with you

And I've caught you!
And I see you!
And I hold you!
Wow,.....am I really with you now!!??

Are you finally mine!?
Am I finally yours!?

There is              Oneness

It is                  instant

This Universe
And all it represents
For all of the importance ad infinitum
Is fleeting

We are together      fleeting

And we are not afraid

Sharing a whisper
Here finally
There is no more        loss

Because together
Is forever

We will never land
This whisper will never land

If we could only have you one more day, one more hug, one more smile, one more "I love you."  If only...........

As I sit here looking at a picture of Jim, his piercing blue eyes gaze back at me.  I knew Jim as a friend for a few precious years - he was a special partner to Lisanne, father, son, and friend.
I will always miss sharing thoughts and laughter with him, seeing him walk his dog "Roadie" or leaning over a chair at Snooky's sipping a Budweiser.
His young son Aiden was born one month before 9/11 and he has inherited his beautiful eyes and personality.
The loss of Jim is too great to express in words - he will be remembered by all who knew him as a loving, caring, thoughtful and strikingly handsome young man who tragically died before his dreams and aspirations were not realized.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
