Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I participated in a "We Will Never Forget" 5K run/walk in tribute to all the people who lost their lives on that tragic day. I had Ms. Jane C. Folger's name pinned to my shirt. Ms. Folger, even though we have never met you in our life, you will never be forgotten.

My condolences to Jane's family and friends. I'm sorry for such a tragedy. I'm sure she was a lovely lady.

Jane has two wonderful grandchildren here in our town - her son and daughter-in-law have a wonderful family and this must be a result of an upbringing of love and respect - may God be with the entire Folger family.

I did not know Jane personally, but only knew her through her son, Neil, who was one of my dearest friends in college. Neil spoke often and highly of his mother. I can only say that, if our children are a reflection of the work we put into their upbringing, then Neil was Jane's most magnificent reflection. He was my hero when my mom died. He was always there for me, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to laugh with. When he died, at such a young age, I felt that a ray of sunshine had been taken away from my life. Maybe God meant for Jane to be together again with her beloved son. I hope they found each other in heaven. May they both rest in peace.

After watching the movie again "flight 193", I searched GOOGLE to find the history of the victims, "HEROS," as they lived and died. Sympathy wishes to all who knew and loved Jane. I think the movie should be watched by all.

I'm from Madison WI. Not close to the disaster, however my tears return after each viewing of this wonderful interpreted movie of 09-11 crashing of "FLIGHT 193". Thank you, Jane Folger.

As an older person myself, I sympathize with this lady, and can only imagine the horror she had to go through before her eternal rest. God bless, Jane.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
