Jason,
I did not get the chance to meet you, but you have a wonderful family and I know you are watching over them. Just by the way they talk about you, I can tell what an amazing father and husband you were. You've raised a beautiful family. You will always be in my memory.

I never knew you but I am your daughter's friend. I know she misses you terribly and my heart aches for your family. I hope you are at peace in heaven. I heard so many great things about you, and know not a day passes when your family doesn't think about you.

Jake
I just can not believe how long it's been since I saw you last. So much has changed, but one thing has remained constant..... the deep love of such a dear friend and the tremendous grief I still have without you here. You will always have a special place in my heart and in my memory. I wish you could have met my daughter, I know you would have had a ball with her.

Every time I look into my son's bright eyes I think of you. You never met him, but you know him. His name is Cayne, too. I named him for you, so I could see you always. Hey, you know.

Jake,
I often think about you and the few times we did get to hang out together. The times we had were memorable to the point that I sometimes laugh out loud when thinking about them (and you). You were a great person, parent, and friend. I hope all of your qualities are being utilized wherever you may be.

Jason Cayne,
Where to begin? I had never met you, nor did I ever know you, but I feel as if I had known you all along. I am a friend of your daughter, Suzann, and from what I've seen and heard, your memory lives on through her each and every day. I can tell that she misses you so much, and I can see why. You have made an enormous impact on her life, and she thinks about you every day...of all days, today. It has been nearly 7 years now, but you are not gone, not now, not ever. Without ever knowing you, I know that you live on in the hearts and minds of your family, especially Suzann. If only you were here today to see what an amazing person Suzann has become. You are incredibly inspiring to those of us, like myself, that have never even met you. Suzann has grown and become very mature, now beginning her high school career. Her kindness, selflessness, and determination are few of the many incredible qualities Suzann possesses. I too, on this day remember you, a person whom I have never spoken to or met, and know you are watching over your family. Your memory is still alive and will continue to live on in many generations to come. The fire in Suzann's eyes is what assured me that you still live on, in her heart, and in the hearts of many others.

I am so lucky to have met all your daughters over the past year. Suzann is my grade at my school and is my best friend. I have heard all about the wonderful dad you were to your 3 daughters; they are amazing girls. Suzann and I hang out a lot; she is a great person, and I love her a lot. I am always going to be there for your family. Gina is a great mom and cares for your girls. May you rest in peace.
From,
Special Friend

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
