"To live in the hearts we leave behind is to never die" You definitely live in many hearts Jeannie and will always be in mine. A star will be named after you since, you shine the universe and beyond for eternity.

Today is the 10 year anniverasry or 9/11 and I was at church and I picked out a name to pray for and I picked jean collin. I did not know her but I pray for the family and friends who did.

Jean,

We worked together at Pfizer for many years. I think about you often. A truly special person, gone way too soon. I will never forget you and your beautiful smile.

It has been 10 years and still the pain and loss does not go away. Your memory lives on and my God bless your family.

I went to school with her as a child from 2nd to 6th grade in St. Emeric. You think 40plus years ago would make you forget practically everything. Not Jean. She gave my heart an eternal memory. I will walk where she grew up and the playground that we shared wearing the band that bears her name..(Stuyvesant) hoping to hear her lovely voice. When it’s my turn I shall look for again. RIP my childhood princess.

Jeannie you are a special adorable angel. Your beauty was made in heaven. I was so lucky to have gone to school with you in Saint Emeric and to be able to see you everyday. Time and distance took you away for now but I will look for you again just to say I Love You.

Jean...we went to school in St.Emeric we were just kids. You were so beautiful. Your presence was that of an Angel. The lord new that and needed you on his side. I will look for you again like I always did in school. I never felt the crush that I felt for you. You must have a special place in heaven.

Dear Jean Marie,

Unfortunately, I did not know you, but I just want to say that you and all the other victims will never be forgotten! I can't imagine the pain your family is feeling! I know that you are in heaven keeping an eye on your loved ones!

Jean Marie,

I am trying to leave a little prayer for all those who died too soon on 9-11. God bless you.

I did not know you, but we had exactly the same name. I live in France. That day was a terrible day for everyone in the world. Wherever you are, rest in peace. God bless you and America.

I have had my share of sadness ... but you were always there for me. It is still so hard for me to believe that you are gone. Some day I will understand it—I keep thinking that. You came to me once ... come again!

I don't know you, I even never thought you would exist... You bear the same name than my father, Jean Marie Collin, we probably have nothing in common, you lived at the other part of the world, but I think that you could have been one of my relatives and so it hurts me... How many people are died by the crazy of so few people... May you rest in peace, God bless You...

I still can't believe that you were murdered in the Twin Towers.  I don't think I'll ever truly believe it .  Thinking about you always.  I like to think about you in heaven with your dad and Sarah.

Love Ellen

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
