I grew up being told Jenine was my aunt. That's the place she has in my heart. I will always remember her being the crazy  party girl. I know she's having her own little party with all our family members up there in heaven where she belongs. She is forever missed. It's really hard for the family to process that you're gone, even at this point in time. We may not be able to see each other a lot anymore, but when we do, all we can do is bring up stories of her. Please say 'hi' to my grandpa, grandma, Titi Alice, Mita, and everyone else. I love you and I hope you are watching over us and especially Tauren. God bless. Rest in peace.

Jenine and I went to Evander Childs HS together. She was the very first person I made friends with at Evander. I will never forget how nice she was to me and how she always had a smile on her face when ever you saw her.

Jenine was one of many cousins I have, but probably the most unique one. We grew up together and were very close to one another. Jenine is probably the most comical, witty, stylish, intelligent individuals that I have known in my lifetime. She was a very ambitious person. She could accomplish just about anything she set her mind to do. Jenine was well on her way to begin what would have been the beginning of a well-established career. She was working on becoming a "special-events coordinator". She was pretty popular. Anyone and everyone who knew Jenine never had anything negative to say except she was strong willed and determined to beat the odds. She was a definite role model to most of us. I don't think there is anyone who did not love to be around her. I miss her more than words can say. There isn't a day that goes by when I do not think of my cousin. I will always treasure the beautiful memories of us growing up together and the childhood we shared. I just wish I could have told her how much I really loved her and how special she was to me. Even though I know she knows I love her and always will. I will never forget her for as long as I live and I know I will see you one sweet day in heaven. God Bless You and Rest In Peace w/ the Good Lord above.

P.S. Please tell my mom, my dad, mita(grandma) and the rest of our relatives we miss them and hope they are watching you there in heaven.

Love always, your cousin Jennifer

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
