I remember growing up in the same neighborhood that jennifer did, I remember going to federal furnace elementary school with jennifer as well, I remember delivering the old colony memorial paper to her house every thursday. I will never forget those simple things because as simple as they are they will last forever. Please know that I think about you and miss not having new memories. MAY JESUS CRADLE YOU IN HIS ARMS AND EMBRACE YOU WITH PEACE AND LOVE.

9-11 just passed, and I feel so much sorrow. I miss my dear, sweet friend. God bless her.

Although I had never met the three Kane children (I probably met Jennifer when she was a baby), I was a friend of Faye's since we were in our teens. She, George, and I attended the same college, so I did know George as well. After college, we met a few times, but then we lost touch. However, a few high school reunions brought us together. Faye was the sweetest person. She was liked by all. Having read all that I could on the Jennifer Kane website, I can now say that I know Jennifer. She was such an extraordinary person, which is not a surprise. She had two loving, caring parents.  This year when September 11 arrives, I will remember Jennifer as a truly remarkable young woman—beautiful on the inside and outside.

Hi. I think of Jennifer a lot because we share the same name. Every time I see anything on TV or hear on the news about 9-11, I think of Jennifer. She will be missed along with everyone who was in the twin towers that day. God bless the family.

I graduated Villanova in 1996 and although I did not know Jennifer personally, I think about her every year on this date. After the tragedy I needed to know if VU lost anyone, and when I found out about Jennifer I was so saddened to hear that someone so young had died. Every year on 9/11 I think of Jennifer and hold my children a little tighter and remember how fragile life is. Jennifer has profoundly touched my life and through her death I carry with me an immense love for others knowing that we are all here on borrowed time.

I still think of Jennifer throughout the year, but especially on this day. May God comfort her family.

After 9/11/01 happened, I went thru all the names of the people whose lives were lost. I saw Jennifer's name and thought to myself that I would not forget her name. For Jennifer and I are the same age, and for some reason I felt connected to her for that reason. I remember Jennifer each year and think of her. I think of all that I've done in my life and feel for all that she has missed. I so wish that she could have lived longer here on earth to experience more of life. I can't believe that eight years have passed, and Jennifer seems frozen in time. I will always think of her and honor her memory, even though I was not privileged to have ever really known her. God bless!

I didn't know Jennifer, but I was a fraternity brother to her dad in college. When I think about her death, I think about how life is so precious. And how we should do things for other people to make this world a better place. Somehow after reading all the great things about Jen, she probably would have lived that way.

Jennifer was my best friend from Villanova University. She was filled with a spirit of grace and generosity. She was a loyal friend and truly genuine! I could always depend on her and feel comfort through her companionship. She was loved, and I was always felt loved by her. A beautiful woman such as she can NEVER be replaced, and she is missed beyond words. Please pray for her family, such warm and open-hearted people. I still dream of her sweet, contagious laugh...

Dear Kane family,

I graduated with Jen in '97. I wasn't friends with her, but we did take a lot of the same classes. I remember her always carrying a smile and willing to offer help whenever someone asked. On each sorrowful anniversary, I start the day on my knees asking God to comfort your family and to let you know that you continue to remain in my prayers. Psalm 119:76. May God give you this comfort today and the many that lie ahead.

Every time I google this name, I get chills, my daughter is Jennifer Lynn Kane of NJ, alive and well

I didn't know Jennifer on a personal level but had the pleasure of working with her father George Kane for many years in Boston.  He always use to speak so highly of his only daughter along with his two sons.  I hope one day soon the Kane family will be reunited in the arms of God in Heaven.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
