I knew Jenn from school and the neighborhood. I remember her first when she worked in pet store on Grand then Key food and later when we were done with school every day on the bus.She was always was with her fiance.I was already married and pregnant with my daughter.I remember them to be so happy. Her beautiful smile and curly long hair.Ever day when I walk my daughter to school I always make sure that my baby is aware of the street she lived on and who she was.Perhaps we only new each other from school and the neighborhood, but there is always the reminder.Lets not forget ever1!Every one will be missed. God bless us all.

Hello, I just wanted to say that today I ran in the Las Vegas 9.11k remembrance run in honor of those who lost their lives 10 years ago. Each runner was given a name of a person who lost their life on that tragic day and I was fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to run in memory of Jennifer Mazzotta. I am a thirteen year veteran in the USAF and being a part of this special event gives more meaning to what we do everyday. Jennifer and the thousands of people who lost their lives will not be forgotten.

Many high school memories.... Although we lost tough after graduating, I had hoped to reconnect on Facebook a year or so ago, until I found out from some mutual friends that you were a victim of 9/11.... I still can't believe it, that someone I know was taken away that day! I can only hope that you are happy in heaven and looking down with love! I'm happy to see you experienced love and success. The good ones die young.

I saw her name posted on a street sign and was curious to see who she is or was. I googled Ms. Mazzotta, and all I can say is that my heart goes out to her entire family.

We often hear that so-and-so is "one of a kind." I can say whole heartedly that that was true of Jennifer. One could clearly see how beautiful she was just by looking at her. However, her true beauty was all of the qualities that she possessed that made her who she was. She had an awesome sense of humor, one that was filled with intelligence and sensitivity. She had a life plan in motion and was working very hard to accomplish her goals. We, her family, were so very proud of her. Her dedication to school was remarkable; her devotion to family was untouchable. Never one to hold back, she expressed her thoughts and feelings. If you knew Jenn, you knew exactly what her stance was or would be on any given subject matter. She was honest and loving. A great daughter, sister, would have been a great aunt, too. I think of her every day, and sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure this is not a nightmare. I miss her more than words can convey. Not a day goes by without a thought of her. I loved her in life, and my love for her continues in death.

I did not know Jennifer, but became aware of her in 2006 when I signed up for the 2006 DC Roe blogger initiative to remember all victims of 9/11. Since then I have read about her many times, and everything I have read tells the story of a beautiful vibrant young lady that touched those around her in a very special way. My prayers go out to her family and loved ones. Jennifer's memory lives on, and she is truly an angel who continues to touch all who come across her life's story.

Jennifer and to the family of Jennifer Mazzotta. Our prayers go out to the family of Jennifer Mazzotta and know what courage she faced on that dreadful day 7 years ago. So sad to lose anyone at this young age and not get to see them grow older and such a senseless act. My wife Vonnita just chatted with Jennifer's aunt on one of her games, and what a sweet lady. We still shed tears over the many loved ones we lost on 9/11/01 and will miss getting to meet this fine young lady but know God is watching over her and her family. She is a Hero even though this wasn't her choice to be one. In this tribute, we show our love to this lovely lady who gave her life and hope someday to see her again. All we can say to her family is, we love you and feel for your loss, and we will never forget Jennifer and the short life she lived but hope you always remember the happy experiences you had with her while she was here on earth. We are all Americans and feel everyone's loss on this day of remembering 7 years ago. I know the world is a lot better place with her life on earth. Love always and forever, and for Jennifer's aunt, thanks for sharing with my wife, even though it brought back tears to us.

Today is the 6th anniversary of that tragic day. I got a phone call from my friend Clair from Maspeth, and she told me that her friend had lost a daughter, Jennifer, just 23 years of age, and I started to cry for a life cut so short. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing a child. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May God bless you always.

I was first drawn to Jennifer's website while reading about the WTC. I don't know why, but, I needed to know more about her. After reading what a lot of friends and family wrote, I began to learn that Jennifer was much loved and cared about. I was born in New York, but have lived most of my life in California. I suppose that my birthplace connected me, somehow to this horrible nightmare. In the past several months I have e-mailed Jennifer's mother, Cathy, and she was really nice to have e-mailed me in return. I believe that Jennifer's family and friend's now have a beautiful Guardian Angel to watch over them. May peace find it's way to all who are affected by this terrible tragedy and may we as a whole nation NEVER forget all the people(truely hero's)who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.....Thank you, Cathy for allowing me to learn a little more about your Jennifer......Love and hugs, Judy

Jennifer was the girl I always wished I could have been. She made us all so proud of her, and accomplished much in her short life. She loved her family, teased us, but you always somehow knew she cherished us. She left behind parents who just will never be whole anymore. She took most of their heart when she left; a place that no one else can ever fill. She has a sweet darling niece/godchild Alyssa Lee, and a handsome wonderful little nephew Anthony Carmelo. Whom I know would both have been an incredible joy to Jen and how special they will always feel having had Jennifer as their aunt. Although they have never met her in person, (as Alyssa was born sept. 22, 2001) 10 days after the horrible tragedy! And Anthony, two years later........They will learn of her ways and affections and love most of all and carry her memory with them all their lives.
To everyone that was affected personally by 9/1//01, I want to express my sincerest condolensces and special prayers that the good Lord comfort and give you peace forever.
Aunt of Jennifer Lynn Mazzotta 4/12/78 -9/11/0

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
