Just a wee prayer for you. May God hold you in the palm of His hand. God bless you.

When I think of Jon, I think of life! My earliest memory of my cousin was that he was so "hip," loving, fun, generous, optimistic, and excited about life! You were an amazing son, I know. Your mother and I talk about you often, and we miss you.

It was the 70's, and Jonathan and I were very close buddies. We were in the same business, single, having fun. - in the Upper East Side, the Hamptons at Quogue, etc. We partied together, drank together. A whole other side of life. The world was our oyster.
Even though it was 8 years ago when I heard, I still feel a sadness in my heart when I realize that this remarkable, upbeat and happy man is gone.

I think of J.C. often. He was my friend and sometimes doubles partner in squash. He always had a kind word and cared more than anything about his family and friends. He made life feel hopeful with his positive outlook and warm disposition. I was honored to teach J.C. and Susan's son, James. He was a bright and capable student who made teaching a pleasure. Thank you, Connors family, for the very happy and positive impact you had on me and the life of my family.

Jonathan was a loving friend. We grew up together as children. We were close together. He was like a brother to me. We used to go out together wherever we used to go. I will never forget him, never. I will always remember him. No one will ever replace his place in life. He was a good loving person. He was a funny guy. He was sweet, kind, and a cute guy. He will always be in my heart and my thoughts and my dreams. I will never forget you, Jonathan Connars, never.

In life there is no bigger hero than the man or woman who provides love support and the benefits of a strong head of the family. I'll always remember Jonathon that way as a great role model for his family and my sons by his friendship with Jonathon's family. We miss you.

I knew JC Connors about 20+ years ago from the Creek Club in Locust Valley. He was a first class gentleman. Exceedingly friendly, with a smile on his face and a spring in his step.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
