Hello, Mr. Castro —
I was looking through the victims list from 9/11, and your name caught my eye because we share the same last name. My stomach turned and twisted; I felt like I'd lost one from my family. I have never met you, but you have made a huge impact on my life because you went through something so difficult, and you are in a better place now. You are missed. You are a hero. Your name will be engraved in my heart, and tonight I will pray that your family is well and that you're resting in peace.

I was asked to read Jose's name during a church memorial. Reading your comments, I know he was a good person, and he meant a lot to y'all. It was an honor to read his name, and I will keep him in my prayers. May he rest in peace and bless all of y'all.

Ramon castro.. "tio ray" was the best uncle a girl could everrrr he was more of a father to me than an uncle I was his "princess" literally it was my way all the time lol I miss u tio but I cant b selfish God was incomplete w.o you I love u alwaysn and forever

My name is Erica and jose ramon Castro (aka ray)was my uncle. I want to take this time to tell you a little about him.Ray was funny,caring,generous,kid hearted person. When ever we needed him for something he was there. I know that ray is in a safer place but we miss him so much. He is probley looking down at us now.
Ray, we love and miss you so much. See you and my dad in heaven one day. god bless u.....rip....9-11-01
