I had a bracelet that carried your name a stranger to me but to someones family a strong and much loved man. On this day tomorrow I know where there minds will be - it will be on the yesterday where you still stood and they could reach out and hug you, that much loved man. God Bless.

There are people in life that touch others and Joe was one of them. On the approaching 10th anniversary we his Buffalo family keep him in our thoughts and prayers today and everyday.

A comment was made on the news by one of your friends. I will never forget those who perished on that horrific day. May your friends and family find closure and remember that you are a child of God and they will see you again one day.

Joe, I sure do miss you during hunting season. It's not the same without you. I miss all the fun times going out to eat and the jokes you told. Most of all I miss my hunting buddy. Pop, Mom, the kid, and myself all miss you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I want the the entire nation to know that not only did we lose 343 brave men and women and thousands of others. We lost our brother Joesph that day, 9-11-01. He was a member of the Jersey City Fire Dept. He was one of many that did his job to the best of his abilitites. The Jersey city Fire Dept was dispatched to the scene of this tragic event. Joseph took the challenge and did his job. Many will never know that another fire department other than New Yorks bravest, Jersey City Bravest was standing right by their side ready, willing, and able to lend a helping hand. May God Bless the Lovero family and though your pain will never go away completely, have faith in God, that when Joe was on earth he touched so many lives and helped with the saving of thousands of people he would never meet. He was a true fire fighter that day!

It's never been my place to eulogize Joe. But I found this quote and felt it appropriate.
"To laugh often and much; to win the affection of children; to win the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the false betrayal of friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better, whether in a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
In the long run, Joe succeeded.
I miss him very much. I miss his phone calls, his corny jokes, and then his silly laugh when he laughed at his own jokes. I just miss having my best friend there for me.
God Bless Joe and all the victims of this nightmare.

Everything has changed in the two years since Joe was killed. The hole he left is just too big to be filled. I miss him as much today as ever. And probably always will.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
