Joey
We were cousins, I remember the day you died and the whole world stood still.

May the spirits above cradle you in their arms through eternity.
I am living in VA now and my heart reaches out to the ones you left behind
Rest In Peace
Marie

Daddy,

Nine years ago tonight will be the last time I heard your voice. I love you and miss you, and you will never be forgotten. You will live on in our hearts and memories forever.

I DID NOT KNOW OR LOSE ANYONE ON SEPT 11TH. MY PRAYERS ARE FOR THE FAMILIES WHO ARE LEFT BEHIND. MAY GOD GIVE YOU SPECIAL BLESSINGS FOR THE SACRIFICE OF A LOVED ONE. ANNA

Joey you were my cousin, you still are my cousin
and I still think of you everyday, all week and all year
I won't say it was your time to go
I will say some evil people
decided it was
You were and are still very loved
and Frank is there with you
and no matter how many years go by
you both will always be remembered and loved
Your cousin
Marie

Happy birthday, daddy. I miss you so much and wish you were here. You will always be part of our Christmas, and your memory will live on in your grandchildren. I love you. <3

Though 8 years have passed I miss you even more, Daddy. I have your picture on my wall and look at it every day. I tell my kids about you all the time and they know Papa Joe is watching them from heaven. I will love you forever. You are my hero.

Joe, there is not a day that goes by that you are not in our thoughts and prayers. You are present with us everyday and we remember! You would be very proud of your stone worker she is doing a great job. We hold you in our hearts.

In 2007 there was a street dedication in my brother's home town where he built his life with his family. Joe is present with us each and every day. His legacy is alive in his children and grandchildren. He will be forever a part of our lives and will always be in our thoughts. Angels walk among us.

My Uncle was great at biting chicken bones in half, and I miss him a lot. He would always play with me, and he wasn't afraid of anything. I will always remember him.

Joseph was my father. And he was my hero. He was a selfless man who gave all of himself in everything he did. I miss him dearly and think of him EVERY DAY. I tell his granchildren (whom he never met) how great he was, and I tell my son he was named after his PAPA Joe the Hero.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
