I think of you always ... but on 9/11 I am forced to remember the tragic moment that took you away from us. I miss you. I hope you and Debbie are together and watching over us. You both didn't deserve this. I love you.

Hi Nina, another year, we miss you more than ever. Mom and I was just talking about you. She wishes you were here to see your grandbaby. She is growing so wonderful. Nicky is doing a great job with her. You would be so proud of her. I dream of you wish you were here. I love and miss you
Until We Meet Again.

Hey Nina,

Another year has gone again. It gets no easier. The baby is getting so big! She's as smart as can be. We miss you so much! Things are moving along. We wish you were here to see your granddaughter. You would love her to death. She is so beautiful, so lovable. I know you are watching over us all. Please continue to be our angel and watch over us all. We love you very much. Until we meet again.

I miss you more that I can even understand. Every day I wish you were here to see how well I am doing, but I know you are so proud of me. I feel your spirit all the time, thank you for that. Everyone is doing fine, but it's not the same without you. I know you have gone to be in a better place, but I still miss you everyday.

See you soon enough

<3 Shawna, your granddaughter.

I miss you. The family has a void because you were the glue that always made everyone stick together.

I love you and miss you. Your memory will always live on in my heart and the pictures from when we were younger.

Say hello to Debra. I know you two are happy. I'll see you again... we all we be together again.

Love,
Corease

Hey, Nina,

Another year's gone by. It has not gotten any easier. We miss you dearly. Your granddaughter is growing like a weed. She is soo beautiful and smart. You would enjoy her so much. She sees your pictures and says, "That's Grandma." Thank you for giving us a niece that bore you a beautiful grand daughter. We love and miss you so much. Until we meet again.

Juanita is my sister. She was a wonderful person. I miss her so much. I am only 11 months younger than she was. We did so many things during our younger years together. We went to parties, parks and school functions together. She meant the world to our family. She now has a one-year-old granddaughter that is so beautiful. I know she is watching over us all. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH.

Juanita Lee was a fun person, although it was not that much, we enjoyed doing things together, we often had lunch on avenue L and 95th st, i call it the purple cafe. we enjoyed going to the movies together, visiting one another and sharing good conversation, laughter. for my birthday she made me a surprise dinner of shrimps deep fried. we would sit along the pier and just take in the summer breeze and laugh and talk. we have on occassion gone to dances, a boat ride, we were board members together. we had a good friendship, we may have had our disagreements, but all in all we did get along. she will be missed very much, gone before her time.  Her husband Eddie Lee gave her a Celebration of Life for her birthday which was Oct 6th in the year of her sudden departure. All of her friends, family and people she worked with were there. we shared conversation and when she called she always referred to me as Miss JW.  She and her husband shared a glass of champagne with my husband and myself on my birthday. Juanita may be gone but she is not forgotten.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
