Just saw a documentary and felt so bad for you because you tried so hard. Now you are in Heaven where you have no more worries.

I watched Heroes of the 88th Floor and I was filled with sadness. Im a High schooler and I feel much pain for those who lost loved ones. Judith, even though I didnt know her, was, no she is a wonderful person. She showed much strength to overcome the fumes. To be able to make it half-way is mindblowing. Judith is a real warrior. Sadly she wasnt able to make it out, but she will forever be in my heart. We all come together in a time of sadness or needness.

Mrs. Reese,
Today my college campus gathered in remembrance of the tragedy that occurred ten years ago. Each student was given the name of a victim to represent. I was taken aback when I was handed a piece of paper with a name that shared my same initials and my exact middle name. I instantly felt a connection with you. I hope you resting in peace. I am praying for your family.
Just know that you are in my thoughts.

I watched a documentary on Heroes of the 88th floor and was so touched by your story. I feel for your family and I cried knowing how hard you fought to live. Blees you and your family. Rest in Peace. You deserve to be remembered for your fight and will to live.

Judy,
You were the biggest Red Skins fan I have ever known. My mother-in-law was one of your closest friends. I can't imagine how horrible it was, you fighting for air. I have been told that you died in the stairs. Trying to fight to save your life, but it was not meant to be, you had COPD. The air was too thick with toxic gas and fumes. You did not stand a chance to get through the fumes. You made it as far as the 46th floor. Forever gone from this earth, but not from our hearts. You are in a better place, far from here, where terrorists bomb children and politicians declare, "We are trying to find him. We know he's out there, the mad man who murdered and maimed from afar, scaring our country like never before." We hold in our memories those who died on that day, and we hope and we pray that he will answer for his crimes, the man with no conscience, the mastermind, the heart filled with hate for a country so foreign that he can't understand what it means to be free, and the price that we pay for liberty to live and freedom to reign. We honor your memory and for your soul we pray.
Someone who knew that you died on that day.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
