I worked with Kit at PDC and Janus. She was an amazing woman. She was smart, funny, hard working and hard playing. Her smile lit up the room. The world was a better place with her in it. I will never forget that day for her. My thoughts and prayers still go out to her family.

I still remember Kit from WG junior high school. Its hard to believe that it has been 10 years since that tragic day. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family each and every time I see something to do with this day!

Ten years and memories of you, Kit, are as fresh as ever - your days at Pope John Paul with my Mary Kaye, being an elf for my seniors in Boca, vacations shared - your beautiful engaging smile - the warmth of your personality! We remember so many wonderful thinks about you, Kit, and know that you are an "angel on our shoulders" daily. How we love you and miss you! The Weppner Family

I worked with Kit at Janus and she was a good friend. Janus has a memorial for her in their lobby, and I look at it often and remember what a fun loving, kind person she was. After ten years I still miss her and her memory will always be with me. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Kit possessed the most wonderful spirit of all the people I have ever meet even to this day. I vividly recall my third week as her manager (in October, 1997). She and I spent several days in New Orleans on business. Kit was so inclusive and loving that after this short amount of time, I would never forget her. I'm in NYC as I write this after going by. I miss her dearly.

She is still in my thoughts and prayers 9 years later. We both worked at Janus and I did not know her personally. Maybe spoken to her for work maybe 2/3 times. But I was called and asked if I could try to reach her on her cell or locate her in the towers since we were in CT. and cell service was getting difficult. I called tower receptionist and confirmed she was there already and tried to contact her cell and left messages for her. I am so sorry for her loss and the loss of all the other loved ones that day. It never gets easier to bear the day and remember the timeline. Peace to you and your families! Know that you are never forgotten.

Kit's brother Bill is one of my best friends from Chicago, and I met her for the first time over the summer of 2001 on a wonderful night. Kit also worked with my brother at Janus in Denver. I pray for her and her family often. I try to make sense of 9/11, and from Kit I learned "Live, laugh, and love."

Kit was our best man's wife, and we adored her. She was as sweet as she was beautiful. My heart is broken, and our love goes out to her family.... We went to her wedding, and I'll never forget that day. She really was so stunning ... both inside and out.

I attended high school with Kit at WG. Although Kit graduated a year later, we had a photography class together and I remember her well. Kit will always be remembered with a smile and her ever friendly and kind disposition! She was truly a beautiful person with a very, very kind heart for all. Kit has certainly put a real face for me, and now for my family, on 9-11. What a loss for all who knew her and for those who will now not have the chance to know her in the future. She is a hero, and will never be forgotten.... Her life may have been short, but she sure knew how to enjoy it.

I went to high school with Kit, until she transferred to Florida. I just now (5 years later)learned of her demise in the 9/11 attacks and am in a bit of shock. She was a beautiful, beautiful girl with a huge heart. I specifically remember her being in a gym class with me my sophomore year and having loads of fun. I had a huge crush on her her! I could tell then that she was a leader and someone who lived life to the fullest. You will be missed, Kit!

I worked with Kit at Janus. She was always very cheerful, upbeat and friendly. She was athletic and very fit...something I admired. It was clear that she was respected by her peers, despite being in a heavily male dominated department (IT). She was a bright spot in anyone and everyone's day and sadly she will be missed. I think of her often and I feel blessed to have known her and to be touched by her.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
