When I think of you Kenny, I see that big smile and remember what a funny, kind, caring and just overall great man you were. Working for Cunard was a trip in itself...what a staff we had! You brought light everywhere you went and I know in my heart you are still shinning bright. You will always be in my memory and prayers!

I was given Kenneths name as part of signing up on Facebook for the 9/11/11 anniversary. I dont want this to be another name for me, I would love to know more about this man. Kenneth, May God bless and keep you. I pray that God is with your family and friends always and GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I honor you today, Kenneth Charles, Ledee. I wear your name on a bracelet in your memory. I pray for your family. Our students at our small, Texas school district honor those lost on that fateful Tuesday morning by wearing individual names that our Student Council members hand wrote onto bracelets.
May God help us all love one another.

I knew Kenny and his family when we were teenagers. We were attending the same church. He was a kind, caring, and gentle soul, just a genuinely beautiful person. I was so sorry to hear of such a loss.
Blessings to you and yours,
Your old friends,
Elena and Aixa

You hear the saying that bad things happen to good people, but you never believe it will happen to someone you know.
Kenny was indeed a gem of a man. I remember a handsome, sweet, talented man. I knew Kenny from church, as well as his family. He is and always will be remembered. God bless you all.

Ken,
Our baby will be turning 10 next week. I am sorry that you have missed so much. I have tried to give her the kind of life we wanted to give her. I have tried to make sure I loved her enough for the two of us...
Love,
Mary

In the last two years I have been in touch with a childhood classmate, who shared with me a special time in our lives...Seventh grade. This year in our lives was so important because it was the year that we were to share two solid years in a 2 year "SP" with other "special students" (ie. Kenny). In the sixth grade, we were given a choice-----"Would you like to be a part of a ""special three year"" program??? or a ""special two year program"" (where, you get to skip a grade and look absolutely brilliant)... DUHHHHHHH!!!!! Darlene, Sandra, Sharon and I were in Kenny's class. As different as we all were...We all felt his warm spirit. God Bless you and your daughter.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
