Friends -

I played youth football on the Kingsessing Road Runners in Philadelphia with Kevin and Kelvin back when we were 14/15 years old, around 1971. Then we all went on to play ball at John Bartram High. Kevin was a great guy back then, and was one of the very hearts of our teams. And even though he and Kelvin were twins, they were different personalities and each was his own man. Even at that young age. I remember him fondly.

I met Kevin on Amtrak many years ago some of the same group of people still rides the front of the train and we often think of Kevin and that smile, we still miss him and hope his family members are healing with time. I am still communting and working at 7 WTC so I get to see the re-building and the fountain that bears his name, I hope that this brings his family some peace that we will never forget.

Our mothers were the best of friends ever since we were in elementary school. Kevin and his siblings were like family to my brothers and I. Any kind words I could say about Kevin would be understatements. We love you... we sure do miss you and your kids are wonderful! God bless Stephanie and the children. I continue to keep my friends in my prayers. God is good.

I went to a manufacturing school in West Oak Lane called PHAME, where his father taught me math. His father was such a great person.... God bless Kevin. He is thought of often and forever, as are all Americans who died on 9-11.

I knew Kevin for many years during my time with M&M. He was a good man with a wonderful smile. My heart felt prayers go out to his family. God bless you!

I met Kevin over 25 years ago at the wedding of John and Beverly Scarbrough (my sister.)
Ten years later he, Kelvin and many Kutztown alumni attended my wedding to his classmate, Tyrone Burno.
Together, we attended Kevin abd Stephanie's beautiful wedding.
I remember a quiet, soft spoken man who was a great friend.
As hard as this anniversary is for Tyrone and I, we hold fast to our faith in God who understands all that we can't comprehend. We are praying for the comfort and peace of all who have been affected by these events, especially Stephanie and the children.
You all are never far from our thoughts and prayers, not just today, but always. _

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
