Mr. K. Cosgrove may your soul rest in the highest of heavens. Your voice today almost brought me to tears. No one deserves to go through what you went through. Your words and your voice will forever be in my heart. Your desire to live is evidence that we ought not to ever take the beauty of life for granted. God bless you and your family.

Once in a while you meet someone like Kevin. I did business with Kevin for several years and so enjoyed knowing him. He was smart, kind and funny. The world is a sadder place without him. May God bless him and his family.

I saw the video on YouTube of his call.
It was heart breaking, his scream at the end. I am going to hear it in my dreams.
Rest in Peace Kevin Cosgrove and victims.

I have nothing but rage in my heart that you had to go this way. I am so very sorry for all the fear and terror you experienced at your last moment, none of which you ever deserved. My deepest sympathy to your family and loved ones.

Rest in peace. The Evil that took you,can never take you from the hearts of those who know and love you. Your hell has thankfully passed, justice for you and your family yet to be paid.

Listening to that horrible ordeal is why I will never forget that morning and even 10 years later I still pray for your family. Al Quada is finally getting their just desserts for the horrific way you and the other victims left this world. God Bless!

listening to the final moment of somebodies life brings your life into perspective. Rest in peace Kevin, I wish I had the guts that you had, you must have been a very very special man and you have touched my heart.

Love to the family. R.I.P

My heart still aches everytime I see images of what happened 10 years ago as if it happened yesterday. Even though I never knew you, I am so sorry for what happened to you and all of the other innocent people that went through what you did. I pray that you are in peace and that God continues to bless your family every day.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. You did not deserve to die this way. God bless your family Kevin, rest in peace.

Kevin, I heard your 9-1-1 call on YouTube. Such horror, such sadness, I was overwhelmed. I pray no other living soul should ever again have to go through the terror and turmoil you had to. I have your name on a post-it note attached to my monitor in my office. It gives me perspective and helps me remember to cherish my loved ones, and live each day as if it were my last.

Sincere condolences to your family and all families of victims and survivors alike, of terrorist attacks. I hope your soul is at peace.

London, UK.

Kevin Cosgrove had courage that day than all of us combined will ever have. He could have jumped to a painless death, but instead, he stayed on the phone, in the midst of fire and suffocating smoke (not even aware of the imminent collapse) to rescue his friends and colleagues.

In life or death circumstances, your true nature come out. Cosgrove was a hero. That is something to recognize, honor, and aspire to. God bless him, and his wonderful family. RIP

Sir you are a true hero. God needed the bravest man and choose you in 105 that all...The lord wanted the bravest souls by his side.

May you rest in peace Kevin.  God bless you and your family.  Thanks to the US Navy Seals for their brave service. In Islam, the Prophet Muhammad revived the law of retaliation or lex talionis, best known from the formulation "an eye for an eye" in the Torah.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
