I just listened to Kevin's 911 call today. It is so chilling, so desperate. I feel so sad for his family, especially if they had to listen to that. I'm thinking of all the 911 brave souls today. I am thinking of all the 911 families today and I have hung my flag because we must NEVER forget. I promise all of you I never will.

This was the first time I ever heard the recording and the ending chills to the bone. I sat in stunned silence as the horror soaked in. I am just so sorry. And just so sad.

I am so sorry your last moments on earth were so painful. God bless your family and friends, who love and miss you still. I will never forget you or any of the others lost.

I was watching the programme last night (09/10/2010) here in the UK about the phone calls from the Twin Towers, and what drew my attention near the end of the film was when I heard the name Cosgrove—that just happens to be the name of a distant relation of my wife.

My heart goes out to all the victims and their families on this sad day. May God give you all the strength to carry out your normal daily lives as best as you possibly can. They will never be forgotten.

God take care of you all,
Eddie Quinn

I woke up this morning thinking about 911 and all of those brave young, old, men, women, and firefighters who struggled to work together on their way to freedom out of the Two towers.
I will NEVER forget the time when I was in third grade at age (8) when I had first seen the news that my teacher turned on in the classroom. I was shocked and confused. I've never seen anything like that on the news before but now I wake up 9 years later (now 17) and I realize how cruel and devastating that day was for the American people. I also listened to the KC phone call on youtube. Every time I hear it I can feel a sense of sadness and horror strike my body... RIP to all of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident...  While we are together here on Earth, guys, we have to make the best of it and work together and put good effort little by little into making this world a peaceful better life for all of mankind. AMEN

IT REALLY BOTHERS ME THAT WHILE MR. COSGROVE WAS TALKING TO THE EMERGENCY OPERATOR THAT THE WORLD COULD HEAR HIM DYING. I CRIED WHEN I REALIZED HE AND ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE TRAPPED IN THE SOUTH TOWER DIED IN FRONT OF THE WORLD. HIS LAST RECORDED WORDS WERE OH MY GOD.

Can't believe it has been 9 years since that terrible day. Miss you Kevin.

I am watching a 9/11 programme. I have never seen or heard this before. There have been many sad moments that I have seen, but this is very sad moment. I subsequently saw pictures of his family, who are about the same age as mine. It was wrong, so wrong!

I listened to Kevin's final call. I am so sorry about your loss. It breaks my heart every time I hear it.

I have heard Kevin's voice before, and just listened to it again. I ache for him and so many others who suffered and died on that terrible day. Kevin's words are there for us to hear and remember, lest we forget how precious life is and how quickly it can be taken from us. R.I.P. Kevin and all the victims of 9-11.

I just heard Kevin Cosgrove's last call on YouTube for the first time today. And also Mrs. Doi's and Betty Ong's last calls, too.

They are all so heartbreaking. How horrible that they clung to hope believing help would reach them and then died waiting. Would it have been better had they known? I don't know.

To hear their voices, breath, and tears and to know they were full of life just as I am right now, it is so haunting.

I thank God that at least they all did make those phone calls and that they were recorded. By that simple act they will never be forgotten, their voices never silenced, and countless people will mourn and miss them, who otherwise never would have even known their names.

I ache with my whole heart wishing they had survived, lived on, hugged their loved ones that night, and died peacefully of old age.

But some evil twisted men made choices that day that ruined that. In a way, then, these recordings allow them to be heard and never really be gone completely. Gone, but never forgotten.

Praying in Alaska for all their loved ones left behind elsewhere.

God bless America.

I have never met you, but after hearing your conversation with the 911 operator, a part of my heart broke and never healed. I am so very sorry you had to suffer so terribly. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace. God bless your family.

All I can say is, bless you, Kevin, and your family and friends who love you and still miss you. You tried so hard to get help, for yourself and for others, but the situation was too massive. My heart goes out to you and yours.

God bless your family, Mr. Cosgrove. Your bravery will be remembered throughout history.

I was eight years old when this happened, and I cannot believe how much my peers and I have matured since then. I first came across this chilling call a few months ago, and I choke up each time I listen. Kevin, I find it amazing that you kept your composure as well as you did. If I had been in that position, I don't know how well I would have handled it. Your voice is still heard many times each day, and you will never be forgotten. I am so deeply sorry for your family's grief since that day. Rest in peace.
