My heart broke when I heard you say that you had a wife and children...You remained so brave. My condolences are to you and your family. I am honestly at a loss for words, God bless you.

Mr. Cosgrove, your 911 call literally broke my heart into a million pieces when I listened to you yelling in vain. As I am a Muslim, 9/11 angered me. Your voice made me almost burst into tears. 9/11 was a tragedy that was led by stupid and inconsiderate people. May Allah bless you, and may you go to heaven. Amen.

To the family of Kevin: My heart goes out to you. He was lost and so were those trying to rescue him. He is a beacon to those of us who take life for granted. He stayed calm til the end and we honor him for that. My condolences to you now and then. My friend lost her sister there. It is truly the day our country and our way of life changed. Stay strong for Kevin. Make this a better world.

10 years ago I witnessed the collapsing of the towers on TV. I was a 17-year-old german kid and although I was shocked by this unbelievable event and I felt for the many people, that died that moment, all of this seemed so unreal. It was a tragig and sad day throughout the world, but I was not moved as deeply as I think I should have been.
Today I watched a summary of the events on 9/11 on a german news website. This was the first time I heard Mr. Cosgroves emergency call. At the end I cried... I am still shaking.
Now, having matured, I can finally grasp, how horrible this day really was. I will never forget this...

Thinking of you Mr. Cosgrove, on the tenth anniversary of that horrible day. Rest in Peace!

Dear Kevin, Today I listened to your heart wrenching phone call. To know you represent so many who were trying to get home to their loved ones and to hear the anguish in your voice was heart wrenching. I hope you have found peace where you are now and know that you are never forgotten. Sincerely, Karen

I never meet you, but I feel like I did. I Heard your voice on the 911 tape... You and I were most likely very different, but as I listened to you... I felt your pain, fear, and anger. At that moment, we were very much alike. God bless your family!

God bless you and your family. You were such a brave, brave man in the those final moments. What a horrific, tragic thing to have gone through. You and your family are in my prayers.

*To the family of Kevin Cosgrove...We Will Never Forget 9/11

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more
day, we may not understand why you left
this earth, but we will remember that you perished "by evil acts of terrorism and while our nation was under attack, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. Rest In Peace Kevin.
My deepest sympathy to the Cosgrove family.

My heart breaks for Kevin Cosgrove and his entire family and friends. I just heard his call for help and to hear the his scream as the building collapses on him is just horrible. I hope his loved ones never have to hear that. I pray that you are resting in peace and that your family has found comfort on this 10th anniversary.

This changed my life forever. I am onnly seventeen years old but when I saw this I cried. I am so hurt, and was so afraid. But then something happened... I felt that Kevin felt no pain when he fell. He was lifted up by an angel just as the building fell, and felt nothing because he was saved by an angel. God bless his entire family, I love you all.
