Rest In Peace Kevin.
You will never be forgotten.

As I listened to the recording of your last moments, I was filled with a cavernous sorrow. To have to experience what you did must have been beyond horrific, and all I could think when listening is that I would give anything to simply be able to have held your hand or told you all would be well during those final moments. You were not alone. And I pray that you are at peace now, and I pray for the comfort of your family. And as one commenter below said, your live was worth so much more than a viral video of your last breath. You deserve an eternity of peace with God, and I hope that is what you found. And I will remember.

I just watched the video on Youtube.com and cried as I listened. I know Kevin has passed, but his wife and children need our prayers. I, along with my 4 children will be praying for your family and I will be mentioning your name in this Sundays Sermon on "Courage". 9/11/11
Jesus Christ said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the Father, but by me."

Like many aFter listening to your 9/11 call I searched for information on who you were and a face to give you. It pains me to think of your desperate final hours with noone to hold you,and yet while facing the unknown cared more about the fate of your family. I only hope that you are in paradise and any fears, and sadness you felt have been wiped from your conscious as if it never occurred. I cry for you,and wish I could have saved you. Until we meet someday may god hold u in the palm of his hand.

Mr Cosgrove - my heart and soul cried when I listened to your last words. I thought after all of this time revisiting the events of that horrible day would be much easier this time around. It is not. I listened to the video and was so horrified that I immediately closed my browser and tried to make the video disappear from mind. It did not. I found myself searching the internet to find out more about who you were and I came upon this page. I feel compelled to write. God bless your family. You are truly an inspiration for your children, a very brave and caring man. I wish I had the honor to know you. R.I.P Mr. Cosgrove.

I heard the 911 call you made 10 years ago and my life changed forever. I have thought of you on the anniversary of every year and I pray for you and for your loved ones left behind. Your story left me very sad and I will never never forgot you and that horrible day. I believe you are in a beautiful place now and someday you will be reunited with you family and that will be a day of total joy.

I will always think of you and your family and pray for you and them.

Peace to you.

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy.
