I can hardly believe it has been 10 years! I was fortunate enough to have worked with Khalid. He was friendly, quiet yet witty, a very gentle soul with the most dynamic smile! He was ever so tight with his brother Jaffer. Put those 2 together and you were sure to laugh and have a great time at work! Khalid always saw the bright side of any situation and the good in any person. He was a remarkable human and a great friend. As much as he was loved, so is he missed!

I never met Khalid, but I am great friends with his little brother Jaffer. I can tell, through the kindness and care of his brother, that Khalid was a resounding influence on his brother and will continue to be throughout the rest of his life. Be well in peace Khalid. Your family carries you with them every day.

I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to have met and work with Khalid. If it was one thing Khalid taught all of us, it was to see the good in people. Something we sometimes take for granted and don't practice in our day to day lives. I still wonder in the streets hoping to see Khalid again, but when reality hits me I'm happy to have him in my heart, because Khalid was full of Live and Love and he wouldn't have it any other way. That's what made him so special to all us, as for me he gave me a lesson that I will never forget and that's to live life, don't look back and follow your dreams. I'm so proud of Khalid for all his accomplishments and success he had, makes me want to pursue my dreams and become a better person.
Khalid this is for you ! You will always be remembered and loved.
Friends forever,
Michelle

Khalid was my friend's other friend who died on 9/11. My friend was very hurt by the loss of her friends. Khalid will also be missed and never forgotten. Both the memory of Khalid and Bella will always be with everyone. They both will be extremely missed

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
