I went to the 9/11 Memorial when I was going into the 9th grade. I said a prayer for the victims and their families, and I decided that I would memorize a name that I would never forget. I chose your name because of how similar it was to mine and I want to let you and your family know that I have thought out you throughout this past decade. God Bless.

I will be running in the Las Vegas 9-11 memorial run in your memory. Bib #738.

Kim I have a bracelet with your name on it. I chose you because we are the same age, and I felt some unexplainable bond with you when I read your name. You will never be forgotten. I think of you everyday. Dj Seattle, Wa

It's 2010, and I haven't forgotten about you. We worked together at HRH Construction before she moved on to Cantor Fitzgerald. I was new to the business, and she helped me with whatever she could. Whenever I was having a breakdown because of the old boss and would cry, she would calm me down. She always knew when I was in the bathroom crying (because I was in there a long time). A lot of times we'd escape for lunch and a drink at the Irish pub downstairs. She always made me laugh. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She encouraged me to do better and move on. I hope I did. This makes me so sad to write, and I hope you are in heaven in a much better place. I am so sorry that you had to go that way. It still sickens me. Love you, Kim!

Kim,

I have been thing about you a lot, and I just found out what happened. I'm so sad. I had so much fun with you in school. Save me a place next to you.... Love to your family.

I'm very sorry to hear one of my friends died so horribly. She was a fun person with a lot of drive. I was thinking of you not long ago. I didn't know you were with god. Peace be with you.

Kimberly,
Eight years later you are not forgotten.

I worked with Kim for several years concluding a few years before 9/11. Even though we did not do a good job of staying in touch I always remembered her very fondly. To think that such a sweet girl was part of such a horrific event is still hard to comprehend even 8 years later. I will always remember her and continue to wish for the best for her family.

Take Care and God bless.

I don't know this person....but it is sad anyways.

I am so sorry about your loss, but I know that God will always be with you in your thoughts and prayers. I pray to God that he will help you and your family.

Thinking of you always,
Claire

I did not know you, but it does not matter. You were an American, a patriot, and one of God's children. I am saddened that your life was cut short by those animals. I will pray for you and your family. I also will pray that this country maintains a vigil watch over its citizens, for I fear we are destined to become victims again. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

I don't know what to say, but I'm just heart-broken about you and all the others who died on that horrible day. Sometimes you wish that you could rewind time to the past, but sadly you can't. May god bless you and help your family. I will always remember you and all the others who died and gave their lives up. You and all the others are in my prayers. I will never forget 9-11-01. God bless you and all the others.

i don't know why, but something told me to look for you after 10 years. you were a good friend, and I have never met anyone like you. i'm sorry I didn't look sooner. I admired your strength to deal with whatever life handed you, and it wasn't always fun for you, but you overcame so much. god bless you, kim. I bet your angel wings are as beautiful as the rays of sunlight shining up through the clouds as the morning breaks through the darkness. my love and sympathy to your family.

Dear Kimberly,

When visiting New York my attention was drawn by the note in the 9/11 memorial that was a small paper from Chris Jonny looking for you in the aftermath of 9/11. For us visiting form Holland, this gave a face to one of many victims. We thought the atmosphere was very serene and impressive. May God look after you and your loved ones.

I only just re-connected with Brigitte last week after so many years, and found out the news. It's been 20 years since I've seen you. I will always remember when you dated my old best friend, Chad, back in PA in the 80's. You and I used to laugh at that silly "right here" scene from an old "Three's Company" re-run. This makes me so sad to be writing this. I hope you are reading this and have a laugh because it was just one of those silly things that nobody else would understand. Like Rob said above, I, too, will never forget you.

This is long over due and I'm truly sorry for that.I love you and wish there was some way for me to make right all the differences we had between us. I'm sorry we lost contact over the years, but I think about you ALL the time. The only comfort I can find in this is something I heard from a friend a while back on a retreat. GOD must have been short on angels and needed you to be with him. I will NEVER forget you.

Love,
Rob

I show the upmost respect for you because you lost your life to the  terrorists.

But with the loss of your life and others we show strength and courage that we will not be taken down in any way. So may you rest in peace and know that there are people here awaiting to see you and the rest of the people who departed in 9/11.

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site.
