America has been affected around September 11 of the 2011. America has live one of the biggest tragedy of all. Many people lives were over and their dreams were destroyed. The economy was affected by this tragedy. 9/11 is a date that will never be forgotten in America and it will always be a memorial day for most people around the country. Dear Laurence family. My name is Alexandra, iam a high school student and I have actually heard and being tell about 9/11 on 2001. I wasn’t actually there when the incident happens but I no it’s a big tragedy for all family that has lost their love ones. The result of this event has caused the economy of the country to go down.
Even through I did not have the chance to know him or actually met him, according to the information I have read and heard about him. I’m sure that he was great guy, and did not deserve to die. I know and I feel what you all feel about losing someone yall care about, love and hoping on seeing him again, I have lost and know how it feels like. I know that maybe what I wrote may not be important or may not be interesting for y’all and I totally understand that y’all may not want to go to the pain again. All I can say is that im truly sorry and if I could of turn back the time and prevent this event from happening I would and all this people wouldn’t have died.

Laurence was honored today in our 911 Remembrance Run in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was given the honor of running with his name posted on my shirt. I prayed for his loved ones throughout my run. I was one of the first ones on my team to cross the finish line after 9.11K. From what I have read about Laurence, I think he would appreciate that! Please know that he has not been forgotten.

Laurence,

You got mile #6 of my journey in remembrance of you and all of the others. It's still a work day, so it was on a treadmill at the gym at 0430 hours. Rest in peace, and know you are remembered.

Michelle

I feel sorrow for the family who lost a great guy. Though I didn't know him, I knew he was a great guy who didn't deserve to die.

Larry was a very funny, smart, and charming man. The last time I saw him was when we all got together as a group over in Greenwich Village. I am a journalist, and a certain men's fashion magazine had given me that tough assignment. The entire night was all very innocent, platonic, and fun. Larry, you are missed!

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
