I worked with Lesley at Capita Financila Group in mid to late 80s.
A lovely person, it is a shame she has gone, but she will always be remembered by those who knew her.

I went to the Japanese Memorial Gardens at Gosford with my children and saw a bench dedicated to Lesley's memory, and it's touched me ever since. Today I hope her family feels some peace. xxx

I went to school with Lesley and lived next door to her at Somersby NSW. I was deeply saddened to hear of her death and I often think about the affect on her family as it has affected me considerably. Lesley was a kind, special person who certainly didn't deserve this. My family and I visited ground zero one year after the attacks not knowing Lesley had even lived in America, let alone worked at the twin towers. I hope her family have been able to find peace. She was a lovely girl, and a good friend. I think of her often, and I also hope that Joe is okay, as I often wonder how he has coped.  xx

Lesley Anne Thomas is remembered in my heart of one of the heroes who died in the 9/11 attack. I could not figure out why I was getting emails to my websight expressing sadness for me. My name is Lesleyanne Thomas, and I have a song on christian radio stations called "I can see the dawn". My websight had clip of the song. Many of my fans thought I was in the world trade center attack because when my name was plugged into the search engins, Lesley Anne's name would also appear and they assumed it was me. I was so moved. I have dedicated part of my life to fighting terrorism in the USA. I am also working towards a Masters in Homeland Security. My coworkers call me the ghost of 9/11 because Lesley Annes share the same name. I see it each day at work on the flag of heroes we have hanging on the wall. I remember her as I perform my duties and when I am asked to sing in 9/11 ceremonies. She will forever live on in my heart.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
