Lisa was my buyer for many years and truly a professional. I am still in the clothing business and still deal with Marmaxx. Every time I work with one of the buyers I think of Lisa and the many laughs that we had. On the anniversary of 9/11 I just wanted to say that you are still in my thoughts.

Lisa was truly an amazing woman.  I had the honor of working with Lisa many years ago.  Because of Lisa I chose a career in buying. Her contagious smile and infectious laughter is something that I will never forget. She will forever hold a special place in my heart, I will never forget you.

I worked with Lisa in NYC, both of us assistant buyers. She was always smiling, talked about her family, loved when her mother came to visit. Her eyes sparkled and her head would tilt to to side when in conversation. We had a lot of laughs together working those late nights. I lost contact with her when she moved back home to get married to her love David. I keep her family in my prayers and know they have a very special angel watching over them.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Sam and am amazed at how happy and adjusted she is. I never knew Lisa, but being a mother of the same age kids, I am sure she would be happy to know how well her girls turned out. I think about them all the time.

I worked with Lisa (and sister Debbie) summer of '78. Those were fun times at Camp Rappatak, in Fryeburg ME. I remember her smiles and laughter of fun-filled summer days with camp girls, counselors, Howard and AJ.

Lisa was truly an amazing person. She made everyone that she met happy, and after spending only a few minutes with her, you'd feel like you'd known her for years. She lit up a room when she walked in and kept people laughing long after she left. I know that she'd want us not to cry that she's gone but smile about the life that she lived. She's up above somewhere, and I just know that she's smiling. She left an impact on everyone, and she sure doesn't want us crying. I miss her a lot and can't wait to see her again.

Lisa, rest in peace, and I can't wait to see you on the other side.

You are missed by all, and although I don't know you, I go to America's Camp with Carly and Sam. You have left a great impression on your daughters. You are missed, and maybe you've met my dad above us.

I don't know Lisa personally but I do know her two daughters. Sam is like my sister because we go to camp together. I also know her sister Carly. They are both amazing people and although I don't know their mom, I know she must be proud of them. God bless her and her family.

I have known Lisa all my life. Lisa was a great mother and an amazing person. She loved her kids and and her husband. The community will miss her greatly. She was a great boss and accomplished many things. I love her, and I will never forget her.

Lisa was my very first boss in the Retail industry. She was a wonderful human being and I have never forgotten her or her smile. She made an effort to always say 'hello' no matter how many years had passed between us, and no matter where we were she would stop to give me a hug. She never forgot me, and I will never forget her....

I never knew Lisa but because we share the same maiden name, I felt compelled to write something.
I pray she is with our Lord and her family has found some comfort and peace.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
