Mr.and Mrs. Frost,
I know that the untimely death and funeral of your daughter is not ones favorite memory. However that day will forever stay with me. for I was 9 years old when the 9/11 attacks happened and I am 19 now. And yet I remember the funeral as clear as day. Because I was that little girl who handed you the folded flag in memory of your daughter.Every year you are always in my thoughts and prayers for that one event changed my life more then I knew at that age. now at 19 I am in college working towards my teaching degree, and getting ready to enlist in the Marines in the summer of 2012. even though I didnt know your daughter, she has had a large impact on my adult life. she will will never be forgotten.

I did not know you. But I went to THHS. On this 10 year anniversary. I hope you are resting in peace.

My daughter reminded me tonight that a former THHS student was killed in the 9-11 attacks. Both of my kids went to THHS, but well after Lisa had made her very positive mark on the school. I wish we had known her, it sounds like she was a truly remarkable young lady. I hope that the tributes posted here bring some comfort. God bless.

Lisa,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today. I remember your kind and respectful ways, which still continues to be an inspiration to me. Given the recent developments in the news, I honor your memory with a sense of solace for that tragic day. God bless you and your family....

Respectfully,
Ryan

I met Mr. and Mrs. Frost while performing the National Anthem at an Angels game. They placed her memorial pin, along with Sgt. Stephen Bryson's, on my shirt prior to my performance. And they told me their stories. I will never forget what Mr. Frost said to me when I asked him for advice for me and my then 8-year-old daughter.... He grabbed my shirt and kept saying, "LOVE HER! LOVE HER!"

Ever since that day, I tell the story and show the buttons of Lisa and Sgt. Bryson to my high school students. I have been sharing their lives every year for the last 10 years to well over 2,000 students. I am proud to say that Lisa will never be forgotten!

Today I thought of Lisa and her family. I lived in RSM for over 15 years and raised 2 daughters close to Lisa's age... one is now in the U.S. Army and has been deployed to Iraq twice... I just think if it had been one of my daughters, how devastated I would be... my heart goes out to Lisa's family and my thoughts and prayers are with you.... I know it doesn't bring Lisa back, but hopefully will help you feel better on this day.

Dear family and friends of Lisa's,

I hope that the President's recent announcement brought some closure and peace for you. I didn't know Lisa, her family, or her friends, but I read about her in our local news. As a mother of an out-of-state college student, I always looked forward to my son's visits, and it broke my heart when I heard your devastating news. Tomorrow I will run RSM Lake in Lisa's memory. Blessings and peace…

Hi, Lisa,

Watching the news tonight brought back a lot of memories of that terrible day. You are not forgotten.

I run around RSM Lake daily and pass Lisa's memorial. My heart still tears when I think of the family's loss. You are all in my constant thought and prayers. May God bless you with everlasting peace.

I was at your memorial and carried the button your Dad gave me on two deployments to Iraq. I just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday. God bless you, Lisa. God bless America.

Lisa, I have never met you; however, I was at your funeral. I was the little girl who gave your parents a folded flag in your honor. When I gave that flag to your parents, I saw so much pain and sadness in the eyes of your mom and dad. You were very loved, and even though I never met you, you have inspired me to do everything I can to help others and treat everyone with compassion. I truly wish I could have met you.

Lisa,

I will never forget you. The time that I spent with you in high school will never be forgotten. I am honored to have known you and will miss you, eternally, for the rest of my days.

Tom and Melanie,

I have not seen you since Lisa's memorial, but I think of you and your family often.... God bless....

I will never forget you, though I had never met you. I can see your memorial from my home and pass by it almost daily when I walk around the lake. People from 116 different nations lost their lives that day, but you were our neighbor. You are the one who keeps me in check whenever I start to feel sorry for myself! Your family is still in my prayers.

Tom and Melanie, not a year goes by without thinking of you both and the tragic loss of your sweet daughter. I will continue to keep you both and Danny in my prayers. Love always, Gerianne

I graduated from Trabuco Hills High School with Lisa and remember her as a nice young lady that excelled academically. She was remembered at our ten-year reunion and is still remembered today. Lisa, may the lord continue to bless your family and hold you in his arms until we all meet again.

Dear Lisa, I did not know you at all but just wanted to say I'm truly sorry for what had happened nine years ago from tomorrow. You nor the other victims had nothing to do with anything that caused the terrorist attack but had to pay the price unfortunately. I hope nothing like this ever happens again to nobody because I know what it's like to lose somebody and I'm truly sorry for your family and friends as well. May God Bless you and your loved ones.

Lisa,

I never met you, but my mom did, and she said you were a fun, great, and unique girl. I think it's so sad that you never got home to see your mom or dad or brother. Every day I think about how scary it must have been. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends. May god bless all the souls in the 9/11 attacks. We miss you, Lisa!  :(

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
