now after 5 years without my mother and best friend i'm still mourning. life will never be as fulfilling as it was with her here. I miss her with every part of my being. 9/11/01 is and will always be the most dreaded day of the year for me as i'm sure it will be for thousands of other families. I still havent fully grasped the severity of the problems that this tragic even has caused me. not only have I lost a big part of my life... I lost a part of me in the process. she was my role model, my friend and my mother. and although I have been trying very hard to replace the void that she left behind in my heart i've realized that there is nothing that could ever do that. nothing could ever be as dear to me as she was and life will never be the same. ever. no friend or family menber can help me deal with the after effects of this tragedy. and I hope now that all the people responsible for this understand the extent of the damage of what they've done. that day will haunt the minds of the american people for a long time to come. and those who were directly effected by it will have this day haunt them until the day that they die.

i will love and cherish the memory of my mother forever. and I offer my condolences to everyone else who was effected by this. b/c I know from experience that that day has changed lives FOREVER.

she left me here with nothing to live for
no energy left to die
she was my heart, my soul, my being
there was nothing left to do but cry
she was my best friend, my confidant
i had no clue what to do
i felt so empty, so cold, and so defeated
all i could do was miss her

for a while i didn't kno who i was or why i was still here without her. I didn't want to be here. i would have and still would give anything for just one last hug. it took a while but now i realize that she gave me the best parts of her and that she will live on through me and my little sister. my mother was the most beautiful person i have ever known and i don't think i will find anyone who will top her. She was generous, kind, talented, and downright crazy sometimes. and no matter how busy she was or what she was doing she ALWAYS had time for me.
i love you mom and i hope you're watching over me...

Her hazel eyes were hypnotizing. Her beauty commanded attention. She was powerful, but gentle, and her heart was full of love. We miss her soo much.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
