Today is the 10th year of when Lisa my niece died and as I saw the going on at the twin towers I cried. One for my niece, her daughters katie and Jessica and her dad my Brother Nestor. My Brother and I were very close and the lost of lisa was a heart break. I loved her a lot and the either family. God speed my niece Love your uncle Carlos

Today marks ten years of the terrible lost we all had to endured. We honor the memory of the people that lost their lives that we loved. Lisa was my cousin, she was a wonderful mother to her two beautiful girls. Lisa lived life to the fullest each and every day. Lisa you are truely missed by all and your memory will live forever. Love Danielle

Just a note to let you know you are in my heart.

Zach started high school this week and it made me think of Katie and all of those times the two of them horrified us flying down the driveway at top speed on the bigwheels only to stop short of wiping out on the door.

I miss you. I hope your girls are well, and I am posting this in memory of your gorgeous soul, and to Jim, to let him know that neither he nor the beautiful manner in which he loved you and your girls will ever be forgotten.

I have great memories of Lisa from when she was a little girl and a teenager, she will come and visit our family in Puerto Rico and I will play and share nice moments. I am Lisa's cousin.

After 9-11, I received a commemorative bracelet with Lisa's name. I have worn it since. I hope that in some way the events of the past days have brought some kind of closure for you and your family. I pray that her memory remains alive with all whose lives she has touched. I look forward to meeting her one day in Heaven. In "His" grip, Evelyn

I have her memorial bracelet and pray for her husband and girls. I choose to wear this bracelet. I know this is a very special day of remembrances. My thoughts and prayers are with them today.

Lisa,

The years fly so fast, but time changes nothing in our hearts. You are missed.

I just read a comment I left on another Memorial Site for Lisa over a year ago, and the same feelings I had then still hold true. You are still in my family's thoughts and prayers. The loss of your life was a tragic loss to this world. Erin, Brianne, and I will never forget your generous spirit and completely warm heart. We still grieve for your family and want them to know we will NEVER forget you.

Hi sweetie!
Today would have been your 40th birthday. You leaving this world so suddenly has left a whole in my heart. I cant believe it has been more then 5 years since I last heard your voice and adored your amazing way. You will always be in my heart. I thank you for everything you have done for me since you went to heaven, especially handpicking Haileigh for Synnove and I to cherish. God bless you always, and may he watch over you for eternity.

Love always,
Jim

Lisa was an amazing person, she was devoted to her husband and her family. I could not have asked for a better or more loving sister. Her children were her life and i am sure that was one of her last thoughts before she left this world. I love you lisa and i will forever miss you. Jaime

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
