April, I wanted you to know I still think of you. I am especially remembering you and your children today. I send and hugs to you all. John is your Guardian Angel looking upon you every day.
Love, Marlene

I just wanted to donate a piece of history and just one of the memories we created. He was on two championship relay teams as a valuable member of the suffern high track team. May he rest in piece on this day.

I remember John from our days as members of the suffern high school track team. He was a modest guy, not a boisterous guy, but certainly a hard worker. He always was a solid competitor, and he never in all of our days running relays together, I truly can't remember him ever dropping a baton, and he always had consistent times and always was around his personal best. May his family flourish in spite of the tragedy. May the archangel Michael always hover over his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to April, Taylor and Connor - I never had the privilige of meeting John, rather I worked at the same company as April back in '01. April, Taylor and Connor, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Your father was the best of the best and you should be very proud. I lost my father at a young age and although I know nothing of what you are going through, I can identify somewhat. Be proud and strong, make your dad proud - it's men like your dad that made this country great. God bless

John Ginley was my cousin. I want to let April, Taylor and Connor know that you are all in my prayers and that I am always thinking of them and I know John is in a good place. I love you all.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
