when I think of you I recall our times together when we were young, growing up, our families having fun. you attempted to teach italian to me and I did learn something of the language. you are missed by many people that were in your life. rest in peace.

You always looked at life in a positive way....you found the good in people, and always made them smile....your passion for life ended on that awful day....but the memory of your heart and soul remain with us forever....we love and miss you dearly Lucy....may you rest in eternal peace

My dad's cousin Maria had called us the day of 9/11 to tell us about Lucia courageously passing away on that day. I did not know her, but according to Maria, she was a cousin of ours a couple of times removed. I pray every time I think about 9/11 and hope that Lucia is with our Lord and is resting peacefully at his side. You will be missed by those who knew you and those who did not.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I am not sure if I in some way am related to Lucia Crifasi. I came across this site by accident, and when I saw Lucia's name, it was the first time that I had heard that a Crifasi passed away in the 9-11 tragedy. God bless you, Lucia. May you rest in peace, and may God watch over your family for all time.

God bless Ms. Crifasi and her family. I did not know her, but while on the Q55 bus, I looked up to see what street we were on, and over the street sign was also Lucia Crifasi's name. I was curious to see who she was. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

A heroine of our times, like the others died in the event that changed the world as we knew it.
God bless her.

even though i did not know this person, the fact that she died that day is mournful. i say a pray at 9:11 everyday, or as often as i see that it is that time, and i bless everyone who was involved. i ask God to give them hope, love, peace, and happiness and to live there life for God. and now...i shall add ms. Lucia Crifasi to my pray. God Bless and have a wonderful Christmas and happy new year!

Lucy- so filled with fun and laughter. Traveled the world a little bit at a time. Smiling - laughing - loving.
Always remembered-

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
