To the family and friends of Mr. Mier, on the tenth anniversary of your passing my wife and I were given a placard at the San Francisco Giants game. On one side it has an American Flag and the other a message of never forgetting and your name. You are not forgotten! May God Bless your friends, your family, and you! -The Quinteros

I am hoping this note reaches the family of Luis. I am 23 years old and was a student at the University of Pittsburgh the year following Sept 11. On Sept 11, 2003, a flag was set in the ground of our school for every victim of this horrible tragedy. Students were allowed to take a flag and keep it at the end of the day. I picked a flag and read the name "Luis Clodoaldo Revilla Mier." I still have it to this day and just wanted you to know. It becomes different when you attach a name to a face instead of just reading about the masses of people who lost their lives. Picking up the flag and reading an actual name on it really touched me and prompted me to find those who loved him just to let you all know that he is thought of by people who never even met him, such as me. God Bless all of you, you are all in my prayers.
