My middle school created the formation of a human peace sign yeterday of September 9, in remebrance of all the brave civilians and heroes who fought for their lives that devastating day. Each student was given a ribbon with 2 names of people who were killed in the attack on the world trade center. One name that I received, was that of Margaret. Unlike all the other friends, co workers, and beloved family members, I never knew what a wonderful person she was. I nevr suffered the pain of losing someone special in the attack. While I didnt know her, I thought about who she was and what she meant to everyone she knew yesterday as we all stood there in unison, reflecting on what happened ten years ago. As I stood there, I thought about how much Margaret would be missed by everyone that got the privelege of knowing her. So even though im not a family member or friend or co worker, I wanted to write this to honor Margaret and her struggle that wont ever be forgotten.

I work for LHH, and our company rented space from Regus. I never met her and only had spoken with her a couple of times just before 9/11. I was watching CNN on 9/11, and a family member was holding a poster saying she was looking for her. I told my wife that I just spoken to her the day before.... For someone I never met, I always think about her and the family members looking for her. I just wanted the family to know that someone as far removed from this tragedy as I am thinks of her (as well as Jasper Baxter) every year when they read the names.

I knew Margaret from Au Bon Pain, in Boston. She was a manager of another location. One of my better friends was in love with her ... or so he thought. He was too shy to tell her. I just remember her as being a fun-loving, silly girl ... an absolute mis-match for my shy, introverted friend. I only spent a short time with her, but I will always remember those days fondly. I know my friend does and will, too.

I worked with Margaret when she was with BodyBilt, Inc. She was one of the sales reps who left a lasting memory with me. She was fun and vivacious and had this wonderful mischievousness about her! I have very fond memories, and pictures, of the last time we were together at the National Sales meeting. She will be forever in my memories and in my heart.

I worked with Margaret at Regus Business Centers. She was in sales. She was so friendly and had a great bubbly personality. She really cared about you as a person. She was very excited about going to work at the WTC. I am still so sad that she was there.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
