I will always remember my cousin Maria, She was so sweet, and loving. I pray for my aunt and my cousin every day. God bless you.

She was a sister... My sister and its been a very long five years but it seems like just yesterday that we lost her. I just saw "World Trade Center", and I just wish the ending of that movie was the ending for our family but its not. Everyday, and every anniversary when we come across those buildings falling we know what our ending is. BUT, the lord works in mysterious ways and I know he must have needed her for a reason and her life will always be a path for me to follow forever. Tomorrow is the day she became engaged to David, and I'm so glad he is still apart of our family because he definitly makes it easier. I miss her so much, and I loved her so much! And I will never, ever forget!

I first met maria through our radiator. I was in my room and I heard someone say "HI". I went to my radiator and looked up and saw one brown eye looking at me. Me, Maria and sister Mirriam became close childhood friends before they moved away. We would have sleepovers over my house and even when we could not go over eachothers house we would talk through the radiator and laugh and get in trouble so many times. She was always laughing and smiling. She was a very happy person even as a child. I saw her again as an adult by wall sreet where we both worked and we talked about old times. She had not changed much she was still happy even if her life was not always in happy moments. She is and will continue to be greatly missed. And now that I know she is no longer with us in the flesh I will say a prayer for her and her family. Now you got someone else who is missing you and thinking of you girl.

My heart fills with pain everytime I read about you, you were such an inspiration to so many people Maria, this world cannot comprehend what losing you did to all of us that loved you and who still are missing you so much.
You were a Bright Light among us, and since that Light is no longer shining, it's so dark in a little corner of our world. Rest in peace Baby................

Maria Ramirez was a wonderfull young lady, she loved to learn and accomplish more.  Maria wanted so much in life beacause she loved life. Maria had so much plans for the future. She was always smilling and full of energy. I remember her for that wonderfull person who never gave up! She never gave up on her love for education. Maria was always motivating people to finish there eduction and get a better future. She always shared her thoughts of learning and the importance of the outcome. It is beacause of Maria that i will go back to school and try no matter how hard  to suceed. with her memory inspiring me i will do just fine. Oh how i miss having a cup of coffee with you from time to time, especially the new flavor ones. still when i have  a cup i'm thinking of you, especially our favorite one. To my greatest coffee buddy ever, i will never forget you! you are always in my heart and thoughts!

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
