I was given his name to pray for during our recent Memorial Service on 9/11/11. I found this website and wanted to pay tribute to a life left short and wanted you to know I was praying for him

I did not know Mark or his family, but will be reading his name as part of the 10th Anniversary Remembers Day in West Plains, MO. I wanted you to be more than a name to me so that is why I looked you up. Now you will be a part of my life for as long as I live. Thank you for playing your part in all of this to save the United States for all of us to enjoy. I will be eternally grateful.

Mark K. Bingham,

You are a hero. Yesterday, I saw a report about United Flight 93 on German TV. It was terrible, and I could not sleep last night. I am so sorry about the victims from 9/11. All of you are heroes.

I never knew Mark, but I saw the film. It was his story that touched me the most, about how brave someone could be to put others first and the strength of his family, who knew that the only thing for him to do do was fight back, even though they knew what the outcome would be. I know he wasn't alone in his bravery, but from this side of the ocean, I think everyone involved in the disaster and those who will still be grieving are in the thoughts and hearts of millions across the world, and you are never alone.

Mark K. Bingham

The film of Flight 93, it’s not a drama but it’s the true story of all the American heroes, Among of all the heroic I saw the one who’s name Mark Bingham in the website of A Memorial “Sep 11”, in fact I have never knew you before but I know you are the best guy, best friend and also best son. Mark did you know? What did you do? Is the thing that you learned me how to live in this world and how to be a good people, you shown me how to love all the people and how to use my life to living in this world…I realize that all the victims in flight 93 are brave, they don’t afraid any thing to stand up in order to claimed with all the terrorists on the plan. I proud what you are doing, I don’t know how to say only thanks, thank you so much for your sacrifice your life for us. I will never forgot that day you got a way from us, and you always in our remembering forever. God bless you, your family and all the people in the world. I love you…

Thanks to all the passenger and crew of united flight 93

I have chosen not to give out my name. 9-11 came earlier this month and I was outraged that our school did nothing to honor the people that died. I would like to thank Mark for helping out like that. Thanks a lot Mark. You're my hero

I'm from India, and I watched "Terror Strikes" on Discovery Channel yesterday, and I was moved by the courage you showed along with your co-passengers to stop the plane from crashing into the White House or any other bulding.... May your soul rest in peace.

All the world, all the real Free world, will remember all the victims of the 9/11, this day will be always in all of our soul. All of those victmis are our Hero as the have unified or they are in the way to do so against the black dark. Not with the same instruments of those unnamed but with love, with the friends hands given to those who want to reject them.Mark along with his fellows was a hero that demostrate to those barbars that love can move mountains.
We have to be strong and pride, we have to stand up and be proud, we have to look our ennemies in the eyes and say to them that we have no fear of them, even we pass away we will be more than them and stronger than them and demonstrate them that we love them, they will be confused, they will be disoriented and finally they will surrends seeing the unbelievable power of our love even for them and they will finnaly will take our hands.
Belive,Mark is with us, God give us the power to be different,Holy Saint inspire us to be different from our ennemies.
Let the victims go have peace, let them go to be fine at the right of of God. We have to let them go they will be more than fine and they will be with us until the end of the world.

i think its unfortunate that alot of us never
had the chance to know these courageous people
who put the lives of others before their own
ill always remember and keep them in my thoughts
and pray for them and their families
        thank you flight 93!

All of the victims of 9/11 are our heroes. They taught us to fight back if our flights are ever threatened. Mark, your mother is also my hero. Losing a child is the cruelest loss of all, yet she continues to be articulate, strong, and optimistic. May you be happy in Heaven along with the great friends that you met on that horrible flight. I wish everyone one who lost loved ones on that terrible day the best. You are all in my thoughts and prayers to my God who wants us to love one another, not harm others as those misguided terrorists did on that beautiful fall day.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
