Molly and I met when she came over to Aon with the Alexander and Alexander acquisition. From day one, her and I clicked in a very special way--I can't explain it, but that's just how I felt. I remember when her mom passed, and I went to the wake--Molly's strength was such an inspiration. On 11/8/00, shortly after my favorite aunt passed, I received an email from Molly titled, "When Tomorrow Starts Without Me." WHAT A POEM! I cried like a baby; to this day, every time I read it, I cry like a baby. I carry this email in my wallet daily--for some reason, every time I read it, even after all these years, I still become emotional. I can't help but think that it was her way of saying goodbye and also helping me through what I was going through, which at the time was very difficult for me. On 9/10/01, I went in to the WTC to meet my daughter after work to do some shopping. I ran in to Molly, and she was SO HAPPY. She had just gotten back or was leaving on a cruise; I believe she was tanned, which was a big deal because she wasn't a sun worshipper, but the one thing I recall was that she said she had met someone and things were going well--he was a "great, nice guy." She was just so HAPPY--I'll never forget that day, and the look on her face will remain in my mind forever! God bless her soul, and may she rest in peace; my thoughts are with her two sons on this 7th anniversary--I hope that god gives them the strength to keep going, to mourn her departure but celebrate her life every day of theirs!
Love, Sandy

Molly was the best sister-in law anyone could have. She was a wonderful mother to her kids and always had a warm smile on her face. She was such a bright star among people who know her. I will always remember you for the sweet, kind and generous person you were. Never had a bad word to say about anyone. You are an angel in my eyes.

Molly and I grew up in Chelsea. We did not go to school together but we knew each other from the neighborhood and had many mutual friends. I just learned recently that Molly died in the WTC disaster. Molly was a kind and sweet person. We used to meet at the summer "canteen" at St. Columba School in 1966. God Bless her family and may she rest in peace.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
