I live thousands of miles away from NY but through History Channel I came to see a documental that mentioned David as one of the persons missing that awful day. It shocked me to see his picture and hear his family ten years ago keeping hope. So I came and google his name to follow his story.
I have myself a young son and understand how his friends and family may feel. I deeply feel sorry for you loss. Though in the light of faith that is a life beyond what we know in this life, I think he is with God now and just go before us. Many people in the world feel deeply sad for what happened that terrible day in NYC. Even 10 years after.
But some lives are long others short, maybe depend on how fast we achieve what we have been sent to do on this earth. Apologies for my english (wich I do not speak well) and will be always in my prayers. Leticia from El Salvador

Michael
I think of you today
With love and pride
And hope for the future
That your death has not been in vain.
For all the children in the world
Whose voices are yet to be heard
In a world so longing for peace
In a world so longing for peace.

I will be thinking of my old friend and Knicks game partner Michael this weekend. I cannot believe that it has been 10 years since you were cruelly taken from this world too soon by heartless criminals who could not have known the goodness of your being. My heart breaks when I think of what a wonderful life you would have had here on Earth. You were a good man and a good friend. Rest In Peace.

My family and I remember your family today. We have not forgotten your loss. We have not forgotten your faces from the news almost 10 years ago. Our hearts still go out to you. We still stand with you. May God bless you.

Mike,

Although it has been more than nine years since the attack, you remain in my thoughts. I am constantly reminded of your steadfast loyalty and love for family and friends. And I know, as a fellow Penn Stater, that you would be 100% behind the Nittany Lions this season, despite their weak performance. We really miss you, buddy!

Your old pal,
Tom

It is so difficult to believe that it is almost five years since that terrible day in September.  Time does heal but it is so hard to forget that you didn't even have a chance to say goodbye.  However, the many beautiful and precious memories that we made in your much too short life will be treasured forever.  We will never stop missing you, Honey and we will be celebrating your life on May 25th.  Happy, Happy Birthday, Sweetheart.  All my love, forever.  Aunt Jo Ferugio Yeneshosky

I believe you did not die, but you are every drop of rain, every snow flake, every rainbow, every blade of grass, every smile of a child, every baby who'se born, in laughter, and pain, everyy rolling hill, every wave in the ocean, every sunrise and sunset, you're the angel watching over your family....

Mike was such a sweetheart!!  I cannot ever remember seeing him mad at anyone.  We talked alot about all typed of stuff.  He walked me home from a football game one Friday night when my boyfriend and I had a fight.  He taught me that life is too short to be mad.  He tould me not to let a fight ruin my night.  We talked the whole way home that night and he was such a wonderful friend.  He was right when he said "life is too short"  Little did we know, huh?  Mike I think of you often.  I have not seen you for a long time out of school but I want to Thank You for being a part of my life.  To Mike's family, I am so very sorry for your loss.  He inspired alot of people!!!

Mike's family and friends meant everything to him.  When I knew Mike, I felt I knew all of them, too.  He was truly one of the most kind and sincere people I ever had the privilege of knowing.

Michael was a very special part of our family and his loving
ways will always be remembered. He always greeted you with a great big hug and a smile that would melt your heart.  We shared many special moments with him and his very loving
Mom, Dad, sisters Joan Marie and Gayle and of course, his
beautiful wife Susan.  Michael was born on our wedding anniversary on May 25, 1964, and we always observed that day with a great celebration with family and friends.
He will always be remembered for his wit, intelligence and most of all for his love for life and everyone and everything around him. We thank God for all the memories we
made in his much too short life.  He has touched so many lives and to this day he is being honored with numerous
memorials and dedications and there are more being planned
in the future.  He was just a very special kid and I still
find it difficult to talk about him in the past.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
