Mike,

I can't get you out of my mind, but that's a good thing. As life moves on, I find myself missing you even more. The long mutually-supporting talks and laughs at our own expense were priceless. As I pass the Boardy Barn I can't help remembering Park Place and the laughter and smiles on your face.

Love always,
Tommy

I was Michael's Freshman Dean and one of his Math Teachers at Christ the King High School. Mike was a brilliant, cheerful, wonderful young man, full of energy, good will, and high potential. While his life was cut short on 9/11, he will be remembered always. May God bless his soul and bless his family.

I knew Mike in the late 80's - early 90's through the inter-bank money markets and playing basketball at the DAC. Mike was truly one of the nicest people I have ever encountered. We always had a good laugh and his big smile was contagious.
May God bless you and your family always Mike.

As I was reading about Tommy Corrigan yesterday, I thought of all the good times the three of us shared together on the basketball courts and the crash course you provided to me on drinking and having fun. You are missed and I think about you often.

Mike we all miss you very much. I was only in second grade when u passed and I didn't understand how much pain was caused and how my dad felt about losing his favorite cousin, his best friend. I never really got to meet you but the way my dad described you, made me want to meet you. Maybe one day we will finally meet. <3

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you. You were a good friend.

Until we meet again my friend.

I worked with Mike at EuroBrokers in the early 80s. I thought that he was full of energy and always had a funny thing to say. He will be missed by friends and his family. God Bless.

WHAT WE MISS MOST IS YOUR STUNNING SMILE, STEADFAST BRILLIANT BLUE EYES, AND CALCULATED LOGIC. YOU ENVELOPED PEOPLE WHEN YOU MET THEM, AND SIZED THEM UP QUICKLY AS WELL. YOUR LOVE OF LIFE, FAMILY, AND COUNTRY WAS BOUNDLESS, YOUR LOYALTY UNWAIVERING.
WE KNOW THAT MAKING AMERICA SAFE WOULD HAVE BEEN YOUR PRIORITY. WE WILL STAY THE COURSE FOR YOU AND EVERY ONE OF THE BROTHERS, SISTERS, WIVES, HUSBANDS, CHILDREN, AND RELATIVES WHO WERE KILLED THAT DAY. YOU ARE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER.

Micheal is my cousin. I will always remember what a Very funny person he was with a small habit of finding some sort of trouble to get into (all in the name of fun!) The "Micheal" stories that get told and retold in the family will keep him alive forever for us. God Bless You Mike,  everyone misses you. Love Patty

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
