I saw your story on a Story Corps video and it was very sad. I am glad you got to tell the woman you loved that you loved her. I hope you have found a peaceful place. Godbless you.

May you rest in peace. I saw your story on Stroy Corps. You are truly one amazing man and a great father. Something that only a few girls and boys have in their lives. Blessings and peace!

Hey Mike - Your old ABN AMRO peer. I think of you each day and mention your name always when something about the days at ABN is mentioned. Besides those days, I always think of you and hope (as you sister said) you are not playing jokes on the angels. I miss you and hope you are at peace and enjoy the beauty of eternity. Again, miss you much and hope your family is well. Enjoy the journey of peace :-)

I saw your story on storycorps and posted the little cartoon on my facebook. Then I found out that one of my friends grew up seeing you and your family in the neighborhood as a kid. It made me realize just how small this world is, and how connected we all are to each other. I will never know you, but I am glad that you have touched my life.

We went to school together and our families use to play together when we were kids. I found it so hard to believe that you were on the list that day for the World Trade Center. It is still very emotional for me and many. You are missed!

I do not know Michael, but read the account of his death in the New York Times. Trapped in one of the towers and knowing that he was going to die, he called his ex wife, told her he loved her and asked her husband to look after his kids. I shall never forget Michael's grace and humanity and nearly ten years after 9-11 I remember his name. I shall always remember the name, Michael Trinidad.

Michael, I hope you are not terrorizing the angels that walk with you cause you were my true brother and friend that kept me out of trouble and in contact with the family. I hope I was not a bad influence on you whenever you came on the sneak to my house in MD. I miss you so very much. My kids are grown now. Daniel is in college and Ashlee made me a grandmother. You would really love Jamaria. She will be 2 on September 30, 2010. Michael, I miss you and I still talk to you as if you were right next to me. Call me crazy if you would but, I can't help it. Michael, may you look down to us and guide us every day of our life. Until we meet again in the beautiful heaven above. Say hello to mom and the rest of the family. I LOVE YOU SO AND MISS YOU MORE. Your loving sister Carol Trinidad..

I remember your brilliant smile, lighting up your face and the entire room. It was snowing out, and New Year's Eve. You and your wife were both so beautiful, so young. Your daughter had just been born, and you had wrapped her in a huge bundle of blankets. She was so tiny inside of it. It was so cold out. You were so proud of her. Nine years seems like an eternity, or as if it were only yesterday. God bless you, and God bless America.

Michael, my little brother,
We miss you terribly, but I thank you for being there every time I needed you to help me with Mom—and just for being my best friend. I could always tell you everything, and you told me everything.... I miss that. I know you wanted me to be Mom after she died, but no one could ever take her place, nor did I want to try. Well, my little brother, now you have her all to yourself ... haha.
Well, your children are growing, and how I wish we could see them, so that we could see you in them, and they could see you in us. Michael, you were always a man of many titles, but the one I miss the most is "my brother." You have a new niece now, and her middle name is Louisa ... uh oh.
We talk about you at family reunions and laugh hysterically. Then there are those days that a painful crying sneaks in.
Love you mucho mucho tanto tanto!
Millie

Michael came from a small town in upstate NY but lived in a big mansion that looked like a Haunted House lifted high above the Hudson River near a beautiful park. He had a lot of beautiful sisters, brother and a mother who withstood life challenges. Our childhood hometown consisted mostly of first generation Puerto Ricans. The little girl inside of me remembers you and your dream Michael Angel Trinidad.

I know Michael Trinidad and his family from Newburgh, New York. My memories: I went to school with Michael, Brenda, and Bobby. We went roller skating and walked back at 1 in the morning if we didn't have a ride. Michael and I entered many dance contests at the Dungeons doing the waup and freestyle music, lol. We had many laughs together, dances together, snowball fights on Dubois St. Wow. What memories! Back then we were listening to freestyle music. He had a beautiful smile. God only knows his time was limited, but his memory will last a lifetime.... Until we meet again in heaven ...

Michael and I grew up together. He lived right down the road from me. We went to NFA and were on the wrestling team. I always remember walking back from practice through Downing Park in Newburgh. We had good conversations. He is deeply missed ... deeply. We will never forget.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
